First Date

Astrid P.o.V
The alarm went off again telling me its Saturday, no school.OH NO! I totally forgot I have a date with Hiccup today. I wore my pink jeans with a black blouse and black and pink hierarchies.

"Mum just going shopping I got to tell you something later. Can you spare me some money for some new clothes. By the way I'm taking Stormfly with me." I said as I fed Stormfly and myself of course.

"OK darling, take your time." Mother said suspiciously as I put the lead on Stormfly. She gave me money and I walked out the door.

I knew there was something wrong with mom but she won't tell me.

"Stormfly, what shall I buy today?" I asked my dog but he just replied with a bark.

I found this beautiful blue dress which reaches up to my knees with some matched colored flats. Wow amazing! I bought it and walked out the mall.

Door bell rings

"Um is anyone home?" I asked if anyone is there. Normally my mother doesn't go out this tome , oh well better use the emergency key under the mat. I walked into the house and saw a note, saying

Dear Asty,

I am coming back late tonight because I am with a friend, don't wait for me and tell me what you were going to say tomorrow. There is plenty of food in the fridge and if anything happens calls your cousins who live down the road.

From mother.

Wow that is so weird. I walked in and had a nice shower and went to have a nap for an hour or so, its only 3:00.

Hiccup P.o.V

What it is already 3:01 omg, oh no I have a date today. Ugh why didn't my alarm wake me. Oh no I need to buy a new suit, I wore normal clothes and went downstairs.

"Dad I need some money I'm going shopping for a new suit, I'm taking Toothless with me." I said to my dad as I tied my shoe laces up.

"Who's the lucky lady then? " my dad asked curiously.

"Um, just a girl that I really like, she is beautiful.

"Oh OK then son, take this money I hope its enough. Be careful OK." My father said as he sat on his comfy chair.

"Yes dad." I said as I walked out the door with Toothless.

I went shopping and saw this smart white suit, I loved it, I bought it and I don't care about the money. I went home and knocked for several minutes. My father never goes without telling me. I found the spare key under the gnome and opened the door. The house was silent, I checked everywhere. Until I found a posh not on the table.

Dear Hiccup

I am going somewhere today with my friends, there is food layed out for you on the table, I hope your date goes well. (Wink). Love you Hiccy.

Weird but OK., oh no its 6:00 I'll need to take Toothless to Meridas house today, she said 'stormfly and toothless are coming to my house today while you two do your thing.' In her Scottish accent. Hm, I am going to call Astrid.

*Dialing phone*

H: hey Astrid.
A: (yawning) hey Hiccup.
H:Are you tired?
A:huh ( I snapped out of my dream) nope. Just in an hour you'll meet me at my house right?
H:of course I will, I am a gentlemen right, BTW I'm going to changed so byee.
A: byee I'm going to get changed as well.

Astrid P.o.V

(Yawning again) oh no, I need to wake up, Stormfly I shouted, she came running to me, I told her to eat the food I left in her bowl.She loves chicken, her favorite. I took her to Meridas house and came back home, alone. I went upstairs into my room and word my dress and flats. I wore makeup, but not a lot. I waited for Hiccup as I heard the door ring.

"Who is it?" I asked the person as I realized it was a young adult. I opened the door, " you must be Astrid, I think." He said as I gave him the look like obviously I'm Astrid.

"Hello stranger, why are you in my house for?" I asked the guy, "um I am your mother's boyfriend, the name is Zak, I was looking for your mom. May you know where your mother is?" He asked me polity.

"Mum is gone out with a friend. Byee then." I said as he left door with a sigh.

I can't believe it my mother has a boyfriend, just recently dad died, why is she going to betray him, he would hate that. I don't know what will happen next.

Ring Ring

"Hiccup is it you?" I asked the person who is behind the door
" yes its me, open the door please darling Asty." He asked me nicely as I opened the door, he looked amazing, I wonder where he will take me.

"Are you ready my lady?" He asked me as I replied a yes.

"Then let's go to my new car." He said to me.

Hiccup P.o.V

Astrid looks so beautiful, she is so amazing, I am so lucky to be her boyfriend. I'm going to take her to a posh restaurant that will be half an hour away, I drove as fast as I can, when we got there, there was already a table set out for us.

Astrid P.o.V

The date is posh and all but it's not me. He's cute and rich but all of this isn't me. Im acting like everything's ok. He is the man of my dreams - everyone would love to go out with him. I like him but I can't find that connection.

'So did you like the date?' Hiccup asked with a cheeky smile.

'Amazing,great...' I lied. He tried to kiss me on my lips but I moved a bit sohe kissed my cheek.

'Hiccup I'm breaking up with you... We can't be together - all of this you're doing isn't me. Your wealthy and I'm a normal person. I like you, I do.

Hiccups P.o.V

Did she just break up with me? No girl has ever dumped me. The one girl I truly liked dumped me... What shall I do?' I said as a tear rolled down my face.
I see her walking off in the distance.
I thought she was happy but clearly she's not... 😢😢
