I think we all knew who the first oneshot was going to be about😂
To be honest, I'm not supposed to be in Ninjago City. I was supposed to take the case and run. Litterly. But after I made it out of town, I saw on the news how bad things got. The city was on fire, trashed, and the ninja were fighting for their lives against Garmadon. Which is why I was so surprised to get a letter in my mailbox this morning. Let me explain.
M/n, I can't say who I am, but you know me. And I really need your help right now. Meet me at the alleyway on SE 6th, Friday night, 10 p.m we really need to talk.
I frowned reading the letter, putting it on the table next to my bathtub. I sighed, sliding down deeper into the cold water. And before you ask, yes, I do take cold bathes. And they're amazing. If I knew this person, then I would be able to regognize their handwriting. I opened the letter again. The writing was chicken scratch but elegant, print but had a cursive roll to the words, and straight written but....sideways....I stopped, seeing a picture drawn on the bottom of the paper. It wasn't initials, but it was a picture of a dragon. A four headed dragon. "Lloyd?" I asked myself, shock surely coloring my features. Just as I got excited, I was suddenly on edge. What if this wasn't Lloyd? What if this was a ploy to get me back into the city so Garmadon would be able to take the case? All these questions ran rabidly through my head before I came to a conclusion. What if it was Lloyd? What if he does need my help? There's only one way to find out. I sighed throwing the letter into the hallway. I stood up and drained the tub, stepping out of it and rapping a towel around my waist, when suddenly there was a knock on the door. I froze.
Quietly, I ran to my bedroom and looked out the blinds. I gasped. Nya? I threw some pants on, deciding having no shirt was fine. I opened the door. "Nya? What are you-" "There's no time! I'll explain everything soon but right now, I'm here to help you pack your bags."
And that was that. In a matter of minutes, Nya was loading my things onto their...."flying ship?" I asked sceptically. "We call it the bounty. She's got us through a lot and it's just been remolded as well." She said proudly. I took a seat next to her. "Nya, I have a few questions." I said, fiddling with the sleeves of the shirt Lloyd had gave me when I had left the city. "Well ask away, we're gonna be here for a few days so I have all the time in the world," she said, putting the bounty on auto-pilot. "You see, I got this letter in the mail this morning....and I think it's from Lloyd but I'm not sure. Especially because you just showed up," I said. Nya, like me, frowned when she heard the noise. "Do you still have it?" She asked. I nodded, pulling it out of my pocket and handing it to her. She opened the letter and read over it multiple times before handing it back to me. "It looks like Lloyd's handwriting, but...why do you think it's Lloyd? Anyone could write like that you know? I mean, Cole and Kia's writing is almost identical." I pointed to the dragon. "Lloyd's the only one with a four-headed dragon. At least, that I know of. He's the Green Ninja, since he controls all the elements, I assumed the dragon was his because you know, fore heads, four elements." I rambled on. "That makes since." She said. "But I don't know about him writing a letter, but then again, he was always closer to you then us." She said. I sighed. "Don't say it like that," I said. She smiled. "I just mean he's known you even as a kid. You were both hit with the aging tea and you've been closer then possible ever since. You guys are amazing friends M/n." She patted my arm.
"Yeah," I forced a laugh. "Friends..."
It was two days later when we arrived in Ninjago City, and oh my Gods. "Nya, what happened here?" I asked as we flew over the dark, trashed city. "Lloyd's father doesn't know how to throw a party." She said, dipping the bounty twords the ground. We landed behind a large grey-run down- building. "Please tell me this isn't where you guys are stay," I asked looking at her but she only shook her head. "God's... it's that bad?" She nodded with a sigh. "Welcome home M/n." Only this wasn't my home. This wasn't my Ninjago City.
