Looking all around you, you tried to find at least one thing that would distract him so you could sneak away. You saw a stray cat rummaging around in some trash, most likely looking for its dinner.

It seemed like the perfect thing to distract him long enough, so you could at least make some distance before he noticed you were gone. You took out your notebook, acting like you were writing something to show him.

Hanma was eagerly waiting till you were done, just staring at the back of your notepad. The cat looked like it was about to head into a trash can and deemed that it was the right time.

Putting on the best act you could, you started to pretend to freak out while vigorously pointing at the cat. The cat jumped into the trash can, hiding itself from your and Hanma's sight.

"Hm?" Hanma looked in the direction you were pointing at, "Is something over there?" The faint sound of trash being pushed around could be heard, making it seem like someone was over there.

Hanma's face contorted into something more serious before pushing you behind him and walking towards the sound. You waited till he was a good distance away from where you two were.

Taking a chance, you began to tiptoe in the opposite direction of where you thought you came from.I was hoping that was where you were coming from while you were zoning out.

Hanma seemed to be taking his time checking the sounds, casually walking towards the trash can with his hands in his pockets. He grabbed a stick off of the ground, most likely going to use it to knock it over.

Once you've gotten far enough to where he won't hear you, you bolted. You could hear the trash can collapsing and a cat hissing loudly.

You didn't even spare a glance back to the direction of where Hanma was, and you didn't want to spend another second there. The sound of Hanma shouting could be heard, sending a wave of panic over you.

So you've run as fast as your legs could take you, hoping that he didn't know where you ran off too. As you ran, you started to see more familiar surroundings, till you ended up back at the cafe.

You slowly stopped running, putting both of your hands on your knees. All that running had exhausted you, taking deep breaths in order to regain your composure.

Holy shit... You actually pulled that off.. That Hanma guy, what did he even want from you? He gave massive stalker vibes, talking about bipolar much.

You started to walk around again, trying to find a way to get further away. Just in case Hanma had found out where you went, and was running here at this very moment.

You looked around for a bus stop, planning that it was the best way to make it back home. Seeing one at the end of the street, you quickly made your way to it.

You did take a bus to get to school, so the same bus stop should be on one of the stops. It seemed like it was perfect timing as the bus had just pulled up and was letting people on.

Getting on the bus, you scanned your bus card Mrs. Ophelia had got you and thanked the bus driver, and started walking down the aisles. You made your way to the back, where you found a seat next to the window and sat down.

Once the bus started to move, you looked out the window at all the different buildings and people that were passing by. You were still worried about Hanma still being around here, but once you'd gotten a good distance away, your fear went away.

You're thinking back on your day, you've thought about Hanma. Why was he so set on still talking to me, even after I tried leaving multiple times?

You zoned out while thinking, letting the bus take you to the bus stop near your home.

By the time you came to the bus stop, it was already dark out. The street lamps illuminated the street, though there was not much light.

Getting off the bus, you started making your way to your house. You made sure to be weary of your surroundings, still scared from that whole Hanma incident.

The faint flickering of a streetlamp made you practically tip toe as you walked, making you feel very uneasy. You still had 2 miles to go till you got to your house, and the bus was not able to take you the rest of the way due to it being only a main city bus.

Your heartbeat was practically jumping out of your chest, despite nothing really happening. Wow.. That whole thing really freaked you out, huh?..

Picking up your pace, you started to walk semi-normally again. You heard a ding come from your phone in your bag, making you jump a little.

When you opened your bag and took it out, you saw that it was Mrs. Ophelia. just saying that dinner was ready and to start heading home. You replied, saying that you would be there soon and putting it back in your bag.

Mrs. Ophelia's message had actually calmed you down, surprisingly enough. Perhaps it was because there was a glimmer of normalcy today?

A small noise from an alley has jolted you out of your reverie, sounding like metal falling to the ground. Immediately sending you into full alert mode, you decided that running the rest of the way home was the best choice.

So you sprinted as fast as you could, not even wanting to stay around to see what it was. But as you ran, a black cat holding a half-full can of tuna walked out of the alley, tilting its head at the sight of you running away.

A guy with green eyes and a choppy undercut with dyed blond hair came through the alley after it. "Peke J! There you are!" He put his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath from running.

The man sighed before picking up the cat, it dropping the can of tuna, "Stop trying to look for Baji here, you dumb cat, he doesn't even live over here.."

Looking towards your direction, he saw you running down the street. "Huh?.." He looked down the other way, before looking back at you. "Why are they running?"
