"He's your brother?!" I shouted at her unintentionally. She cringed and nodded.

"Yes! Why are you so surprised I thought you knew already!" Ariana retorted and I sighed.

"I don't remember anything from the party, that's why I asked you!" I groaned at her. "It had to be your brother?" I cried out as I put my apple down, losing my appetite, and running my hands through my hair.

"He's the only person that you talked to. The last I saw you at my party you were smiling and following my brother hand in hand and—holy shit...my brother fucked you. Then—that means I'm going to be an aunt?" Ariana muttered.

"Ariana, I don't know if I'm even keeping the child..." I confessed to her. Her head snapped towards me I could feel the whiplash she must've had, surprise evident in her eyes as she stared at me.

"What do you mean?" Ariana slowly said.

"What I mean is, I'm not ready to raise a baby. I can't go through with this, the only thing I can think of is abortion." I answered her, my lip quivered as I spoke those words.

"Wait what?!" Ariana was stunned. Trent was stunned. I would've been stunned too if I wasn't the one carrying a little developing fetus.

"I'm not ready to be a mom. I would be horrible with a child! I can't raise one let alone carry one in the womb for nine months! That's absurd!" I responded to her.

"Okay! You just found out today, I'm sure your emotions are all messed up. I mean of course, you're pregnant I'm sure that's what pregnancy does to you, makes you think irrationally and be more sensitive to topics. You just need to let the news sink in! Please, Rose, think this through. Don't just jump straight towards a crazy decision like that!" Ariana begged.

"The news has sunk in already Ariana. I have no choice but to get rid of it. I can't do this on my own!" I snapped at her, she shook her head at that, grabbing my hands and holding them together.

"You won't go through it alone Rose! You have me, you have Trent, you have my brother! He's the father of your child! Please think this through more carefully. I know that it's your body and your choice, but please, please don't just jump into something so serious!" Ariana started to cry. I felt bad for her, I didn't know what to do. She had a point, I had her and Trent...but her brother, who knew if he even wanted anything to do with the baby barely growing inside me. But as abortion is a serious thing, carrying one for nine months is serious too, far more serious than just automatically getting rid of it.
