CHAPTER FIVE

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride". Lucy became numb, she couldn't feel her legs anymore.

  Razien looked at her concerningly, he felt her uneasiness. He leaned in and kissed her cheeks, not wanting to hurt her. Lucy felt better that he didn't kiss her forcefully. This could be a good start she thought to herself. Jamina and Alicent started to clap as the ceremony ended. Lucy smiled at them.

  Razien could not stop looking at her smile, it soothed every muscle he had. Lucy then looked at him, and that beautiful smile vanished. Razien was taken back, he felt that she was scared of him or even worse disgusted by him.

  Lucy waked along with her now husband to the dining hall. The walk was short but felt like forever, she didn't know what will happen now. They arrived at the dinning hall, Jamina stopped Lucy and took her by the hand.

" I'm sorry my lord I must retrieve Luciana to her chambers, to get her ready till you eat dinner".

" No worries my lady".

  Razien entered the dinning hall and it was only him and Alaster.

"Welcome my son in law. What do you want me to call you from now on, Razien? If that is okay with you. As we are family now". Razien looked at him in disgust. Alaster was only trying to make him mad.

" Just call me Razien"

" Fine by me"

" Sorry about the wedding, it's not extravagant as I wished. I just don't see why a knight like you would want a big wedding with my sickly daughter. She doesn't deserve it, neither do you". Raziens blood was boiling by what that bastard said.

" Next time you speak about my wife and I, I wont be merciful as I will be today Alaster. Don't force me, or your body will be buried without a head". Ravine said clearly and slowly.

" Are you threatening me?".

" Its all in your head Alaster", Razien said mockingly.

" If you may excuse me, there's a lovely lady waiting for me", Razien stood up and went to the door.

" You'll pay for this". Alaster shouted at Razien, and he ignored him.

  Jamina took Luciana to a new room, where it smelt like lavender, the room looked regal. She didn't understand why she was in this room.

"You have time to get ready till he comes. Its tradition, after the wedding ceremony, the man eats with the bride's family till the bride gets ready in the room".

" Get ready in what sense, I won't change right? I'll be staying in my wedding dress till he arrives".

" If that is what you want, that's fine. Normally the bride changes into something easier to take of". Lucy turned red in embarrassment. As the moment she loathed has arrived.

" I'll stay with clothes I have on".

" Okay my dear, take care of yourself". Jamina kissed her cheek and left Lucy to her own thoughts.

  Lucy remembered when her uncle said about her husband that he's a barbaric that loved to kill. Fear settled into her bones, she had to brace herself on to the bed. Only negative thoughts went through her mind. She prayed to god, that her husband will show mercy on her. She tried to be optimistic as Jamina instructed her. Oh how much she wished for her parents and Mary to be here with her to save her from this situation.

  A knock frightened her, made her stand next to the window, as if it would be her only escape. Razien entered the room ,and she felt she was out of breath as his presence occupied a lot of room. She looked at the floor as he came closer to her, she couldn't look him in the eyes.
