"Dad, I think you have been a little too hard on Kiara." Kion said. "It's obvious that she loves Kovu." And After That Simba Replied "Well there was a reason that this happened, Kion. But you may want to sit down to hear this story." Simba said. Kion sat and listened. "A long time ago, your big brother, Kopa, was born. Rafiki presented him to the Pride Landers some minutes after. He met a lion named Afua, who was going to be King Of The Mbali Pride but it got flooded. They spent a lot of time together. But Afua befriended a Cheetah named Beba, his second best Friend after Kopa. They obviously spent so much time together. Later Kopa  befriended an outsider lioness cub named Vitani." Simba said. "Vitani... Where Have I heard that name before." Kion thought for a moment. Then Simba continued the story. "Kopa fell in love with Vitani, and they obviously spent so much time together and comforted each other. Like the time your grandmother, Sarabi passed away and he had to see that happen. Sarabi was his grandmother and he loved her a lot." At that point Simba was in tears. But he continued while crying "We had your grandmother's funeral later that night before the day he went to Vitani again, and he told her everything that happened and she was so sorry for the loss. Then some time after your grandmother's death, Vitani told Kopa to meet Zira, Kopa wasn't very excited to meet her, but Zira seemed nice to him at first when Vitani was around, but things changed when Vitani was leaving Zira told Kopa that she wanted to see him the next day. So then Kopa left Pride Rock and thought 'Vitani is going to be there, right?' Well, little he knew was that Zira and a bunch of other angry adult Lionesses were surrounding him as soon as he got into Zira's den that is near the outlands. She gave him tasks every week, the first one was to steal food. But Kopa told her that it's Lionesses that are supposed to do the hunting. But Zira said that if he doesn't complete the tasks, then he will die. So he came back and managed to get a gazelle killed and he thought 'man, Zira is a very lazy lioness.' And he took the gazelle back. The next week he was asked to spy on me, and he did it, Zira brainwashed Kopa and traumatized him, distorting the story I told him, by saying that Scar was a good king who I killed so I could steal the throne. Which wasn't true at all. Kopa didn't know if he should beleive that I was right or Zira, then he felt her tap him and give him the task he didn't want. She told him to kill me." Simba said. His tears were still flowing his face and he was silently crying "Then he denied and Zira attacked him and knocked him out. She brought his unconscious body back to the Pride Lands, where Timon found him. He saw Kopa was injured and his eyes were closed, but he will still breathing. But the more blood he lost, the more oxygen he lost. Timon And Pumbaa talked to Nala and then Nala notified me of Kopa's condition, I ran and hurried as fast as I could, but time wasn't on my side and Kopa stopped breathing before I arrived. I went towards his body and said 'Kopa? Kopa please talk to me, wake up, you can't die on me you're my son.' But he was already dead. I was bawling on his dead body before Nala found me. She said 'Simba, What Happened?' And I replied 'I found our boy like this, I think an evil lioness did this, Nala, the prince is dead.' After that We both broke into tears and Nala hugged Kopa's dead body, that was in the blood and I cried while looking away. Zira admitted she killed your brother so I exiled her. I told Timon that Kopa is dead and he said 'No, It's not true, It's not true!' Then he continued saying 'wake me up, wake me up, wake me up!' Because it felt like a nightmare to him." Simba said crying and imitating Timon. Then he continued "After Kiara was born, I became very protective of her I suppose. For you see, she is all I have left of your grandmother Sarabi. And she is all I have left of your brother, I always imagine how much he would have loved her and how much he would have loved you." Simba said crying. It was clear to Kion that the loss of his brother affected his father very much. "Dad... I'm so sorry... I had no Idea that I had a brother and that is why you have been so protective of my sister." Kion said.

13+ part.

"I'm the one that should be sorry. Rafiki was telling me to move on but I'm like 'How the #### am I gonna move on Now that my son is dead?' To this day, your brother's death still hurts me and I can't ####### beleive that Zira would do such A thing just because she lost Scar."

End of 13+ part.

"It's never easy for me to lose a child, for anyone to lose a child, I know I'm not the only lion that has lost a cub but it is still emotional for me to have to go trough something like this. I know it's part of the circle of life but it still hurts to think about it." Simba said. After that he cried a lot "Now, I think I need some space too, Kion, it's a lot for me to process the fact your brother is gone." Simba said. "ok dad, but remember that Kopa is not your only cub." And so Simba went into the den, lamenting and thinking about the past he had told Kion about, and how it hurts.
