Chapter 1

~Janel's P.O.V~

As I woke up this morning I decided to call Liam.

"Hey Liam" I said once he picked up the phone.

"Hey Janel.What are you doing today."Liam answered.

"Well I just woke up and it feels a little hot,so maybe i'll be going to the beach. "

"Oh lucky for you.Today i'm doing the same as always,practicing our new song and getting ready for concerts."

"Well, can I hear the new song at least."

"I told you i'll let you hear it once it's completely done. I want it to be perfect before you hear it.'

"OK. But make sure you call me as soon as you finish it. "

"OK I promise."

I hung up the phone and got ready to go eat breakfast at S&S Diner in Miami.I put on a light blue tank top with a pair of denims butty shorts and a pair of shades and sandals.

I grabbed my bag and keys and hopped in my black Mercedes. I drove of and went to S&S Diner.

Once I got to the diner I sat down and waited to order.When the waiter came I was in awe. His black hair fell perfectly across his face. His adorable dimples showed as he smiled widely at me.

"Hi my name's Carlos and I'll be your waiter today." he said.

"Good morning. Um I'll just have toast, scrambled eggs,and a nonfat whip grand Vanilla Latte." I replied.

"Coming right up." he said and made his way to the back.

~Carlos's P.O.V~

I quickly hurried to finish wiping the table as I seen her coming in.

"I got this one." I said to Joseph.

He nodded and I grabbed a note pad and pen. I made my way to her table as I seen she must have made up her mind on what to order. This girl was just beautiful. Her long blond hair fell perfectly down her back and her light brown eyes just made me get lost.

She comes here every weekend for breakfast but I never got the chance to talk to her. Either Joseph would beat me to her table or Tony would purposely get to stop me somehow. He knew I may have a small thing for this girl, although I really don't know her so he'd get in the way of me talking to her to mess with me.

But thankfully he was on vacation and Joseph was nice enough to let me get this one.

"Hi my name's Carlos and I'll be your waiter today." I said sounding a little awkward.

She smiled a little and said. "Good morning. Um I'll just have toast, scrambled eggs, and a nonfat grand Vanilla Latte." she said sweetly.

"Coming right up." I went back to hand Maddie the order.

"Let me guess found someone you like?" she asked.

"No why?"

"Because your cheeks are redder than a tomato and that huge smile on your face." she answered.

I put my hand to my cheek. I didn't realize I was blushing. She chuckled and went to cooking.

"Sir..." a customer said.

"Be right there." I said and made my way to the table to find out what the woman needed.

~Janel's P.O.V~

I played angry birds on my ipod touch as I waited for my food.

"Seriously?" I said as I lost the level again.

"Miss.." someone said. I looked up to see that waiter again. He was holding my plate and latte. I moved back off the table a little bit so he could set the food down.

"Thank you." I said.

"Of course just let me know if you need any help." he replied.

"Do you know how to beat this level?" I asked jokingly and handed him the ipod.

He laughed a little. "I'm actually quite good at this game. But I might get in trouble if they catch me."

"Aw well that sucks." I said.

"Well if you come back after my shift I'd be happy to beat the level." he said with a slight smile.

"Thanks that'd be fine with me." I replied.

"Ok." someone called him and he said. "Sorry I have to go. See you later?"

"Sure." I said. He smiled wider and then left to help the other customer.

The food looked too hot to eat at that exact moment so I scooped my whip cream up with my finger. I blew the coffee before taking a sip. I began to eat the eggs and toast and then called for the check.

Carlos came back to the table again. "Anything I can help with?"

"Just the check." I replied.

"Don't worry it's on me." he replied.

"No I can't let you do that."

"No I insist." he said.

I sighed slightly. "Thank you."

"Don't worry about it." he said with a smile.

"See you later?"

"What?"

"So I can beat that level for you." he said with a slight laugh.

I laughed and said. "Of course."

"Bye Carlos." I said as I grabbed my bag and started the other way.

"Hey I never caught your name." he said.

~Carlos's P.O.V~

She turned around and answered. "Janel." She walked to the door and left.

"Bye Janel." I said as I watched her leave. I smiled to myself and began to wash and clear the table.

Joseph walked passed me and chuckled under his breath.

"What?" I asked.

"Check your back."

 I reached behind my back and ripped off a paper.

"Really guys?!" I said as him and Maddie laughed. I shook my head and went back to my work.

"Real funny." I said under my breath.
