Mommy's pretty boy

-Two can play at that game-

Aria

He really just said it.

"I'm sorry I-" he starts putting his head down.

"I love you too" I say with a big smile. Lifting his head up and placing a kiss on his bottom lip.

"Really. I mean I thought you would not say it back." He says with wide eyes.

"Of course I love you bebé. I don't why I was waiting to say it" I say holding him tight. Kissing down his neck.

"I love you mommy"

"I love you more"

I close my eyes and cuddle up to my sweet boy.

The next day we both had work sadly. I woke up Eli so we could shower together before I had to leave.

I couldn't do it at home since it was a very important week for me and for my work. Which I explained to Eli since I wouldn't be home til late. He did his usual pout and whine.

But I promised him I would take him on a date this weekend to make up for my busy week.

"Do I have to go" he says as I put my makeup on

"I know you don't need to go to work because you have me. But it's good to get out the house and plus you get to see Sam" I say to him while putting on my mascara. I look over to him for a second and he's all pouty. He sighs

"I guess but still" he says getting up from the bed to walk over to me. He straddles my lap as I was just about to put my lipstick on.

"Baby..." I sigh looking at him.

"Come on mommy please. I'll be a good boy while you're gone" he whispers in my ear placing a kiss. He knew that was one of my weak spots.

I place my hand gently around his throat.

"Listen here pet, you're being very naughty trying seduce me into letting you stay home. I was going to let you stay home the rest off the week. But now I'll make sure to tell Sam you'll be working all week, got it" I say dominantly.

He whines and gets off my lap stomping out the door. I finish up my makeup and head downstairs. I see Eli watching tv. I ask him if he wants anything for breakfast. He ignores me. I guessing I'm getting the silent treatment but it won't last long.

But two can play at that game I'm going to see how long he can last with me giving him the silent treatment.

I just go into the kitchen making a meal just for myself. After I go into the living room sit on the couch opposite of him and eat my breakfast. I watch him look up and pout at the fact that I didn't make or give him any.

He gets up and comes back with a granola bar. I laugh in my head. I noticed the time and got up put my dishes away and grabbed my keys and purse. I was about to walk out the door until he stops me.

"I'm sorry for ignoring you mommy. I- was just mad" he says looking up at me.

I place a kiss on his lips and walk out the door.

I texted Sam to make sure he went to work, which he did. I also got his texts saying he made it save to work and then the other half way through the day. I answered with a thumbs up emoji both times.

He sent a voice message saying how he was sorry and not to ignore him and to not be mad.

Can't wait til I get home....
