The morning came, and Minghao woke up first. He looked next to him and smiled at the sight of Ji-Ho, who was still sound asleep. He gently touched her cheek and whispered, "Oh, I wish I could always wake up next to you and see how beautiful you are." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead and covered her up. Afterward, he headed to the kitchen to make breakfast, and the smell soon woke Ji-Ho up.

"Good morning, Hao," Ji-Ho greeted as she walked into the kitchen, surprised by how well he cooked.

Minghao smiled and replied, "Sit down, I'll bring breakfast." He served her pancakes and tea, and she couldn't help but compliment, "Mmm, this is so delicious."

"I'm glad you like it," Minghao said, grinning. "Come on, eat up or we'll be late for school." He placed a bag on the table. "Here, this is for you," he said before heading to his room.

Curious, Ji-Ho opened the bag and found a cute outfit. After taking a shower, she changed into it and came out, asking, "So, how do I look?"

"You look beautiful," Minghao replied with a soft smile.

"Thank you," she said, returning the smile. "Let's go."

They arrived at school together, but as they walked in, they began to hear whispers: "Omg, are they dating?" "She's such a cheater." "How could she do this to Bam Bam and his best friend?"

Ji-Ho felt uneasy as she heard the gossip, and Minghao noticed her discomfort. "Come on," he said, taking her hand. They ran to the rooftop where Minghao wrapped his coat around her.

"Are you okay?" he asked, noticing her distress.

"Stop, please," Ji-Ho pleaded. "People are misunderstanding, we need to keep a distance."

Minghao sighed, clearly hurt. "Will she ever love me?" he wondered, slamming his coat on the ground in frustration.

Ji-Ho quickly headed to class, sitting far away from Minghao. When he entered the room, he glanced at her, feeling a deep sadness. He sat far away as well. The class felt like it would never end.

When the bell rang, Ji-Ho rushed out, but Minghao couldn't contain his feelings. He chased after her, calling out, "Ji-Ho, please don't do this to me. I can't be away from you again."

Ji-Ho walked quickly, not answering him until she suddenly stopped and answered her phone. "Hello?"

"Ms. Ji-Ho, it's your aunt. Your parents... they..." her aunt's voice broke as she continued, "I'm sorry, they had an accident. Please come quickly to identify the bodies at the hospital."

"No, no... Mom, Dad," Ji-Ho cried, falling to her knees.

Minghao rushed to her side, gently helping her up. "Ji-Ho, let's go. I'll take you."

He drove her to the hospital, where the nurse directed Ji-Ho inside. Minghao stayed in the lobby, waiting. Ji-Ho entered the room where her parents lay side by side, and she burst into tears. "Yes, it's them," she said, her voice trembling with grief.

Minghao couldn't stand the pain she was feeling and drove her to her parents' dance studio. He found it dark and silent, then heard a loud crashing noise coming from within. "Ahh! Why me?" Ji-Ho yelled from a distance.

"Ji-Ho, Ji-Ho!" Minghao shouted as he rushed inside, searching for her. He finally found her on the floor with a shattered mirror wall.

"Ji-Ho!" Minghao ran to her, gently pulling her away from the glass. He held her hand, and they danced together, gliding around the room as if walking on clouds, each movement graceful despite the pain.

When they stopped, Minghao looked deeply into her eyes and softly spoke. "Ji-Ho, let me be by your side. Please, stop hurting."

Ji-Ho, tears streaming down her face, whispered, "I can't even see it... something that's drowning me. I feel inadequate, stupid... without worth. I might as well be dead."

"No, no," Minghao said, wiping her tears. "You've been through so much. You've endured so much. Time will heal, and this will just be another memory that made you the strong, beautiful, and brave woman you are. I'll be by your side, never letting go of your hand. I'll be with you tomorrow for the funeral. I won't leave you alone; I'll bear the pain with you."

Ji-Ho looked at him, comforted by his words. Her heart ached, but she knew Minghao would keep his promise. Without thinking, she kissed him, her emotions overflowing. "I... I'm sorry," she said, pulling away nervously. "I didn't mean to."

Minghao smiled softly. "It's okay. Don't worry. Let me take you home."

Later, at Ji-Ho's house, Emi helped her get ready for the funeral. "Come on, Ji-Ho, eat something, please," Emi urged. "Did you tell Bam Bam about your parents?"

"Yes, but he didn't care enough to leave his stupid soccer game to come see me," Ji-Ho said, tears falling.

"Let's go. Minghao must be waiting," Emi said, guiding her downstairs.

Minghao knocked on the door, and when he walked in, he saw Ji-Ho and smiled. He noticed the full plate of food sitting untouched. "I'm guessing you didn't eat?" he asked, concerned.

Ji-Ho turned her gaze elsewhere, and Minghao teased, "Come on, just a bite. I'll eat too." He fed her a bite, and she smiled, taking a piece of fruit and feeding him in return.

"Ah, with him you eat, but not with me. That's not fair," Emi joked, pointing at them both. They laughed together and left for the funeral home.

Once there, Ji-Ho hesitated, but Minghao stayed close by, gently guiding her inside. "Come on," he encouraged, his arm around her as they entered. People offered their condolences, and Minghao made sure Ji-Ho ate and stayed rested throughout the day.

Eventually, Bam Bam arrived with DK and Mingyu. Minghao helped Ji-Ho fix her hair, but when Bam Bam saw them, he stormed over. "No way," he muttered, throwing the flowers he brought on the floor. Grabbing Minghao by the collar, he punched him repeatedly.

"Stop! Stop!" Ji-Ho yelled, trying to pull Bam Bam off of Minghao. DK and Mingyu had to restrain him. "We're at a funeral, Bam Bam!" DK shouted.

Ji-Ho knelt by Minghao's side, helping him up. "Get out now. Leave," she said, her voice trembling with anger and frustration. "This is my parents' funeral, and you dare cause a scene here? I'm done with this. Leave now."

Bam Bam stormed out, and Ji-Ho applied ointment to Minghao's bruised face. "I'm sorry," she whispered, tears falling.

"Don't apologize, Ji-Ho," Minghao said softly, holding her hand. "I'll be here, always by your side."
