Garp slowly brought his head back to its regular position.

His forehead was covered in haki.

Garp: Not bad, brat.

(Y/N) stood up from the ground and walked to his blade, still stabbed on the ground.

(Y/N): Stop lying, Vice Admiral Garp. You could have dodged that easily...

Garp: HAHAHA! That is true, kid.

The monstrous vice admiral touched the back of his head in embarrassment.

Garp: But I was surprised when you dodged my last punch. That was actually a serious punch and I was actually trying to hit you.

(Y/N): Yes... I dodged that out of instinct. That punch would have given me more than just a concussion...

(Y/N) pulled his blade out and sat down on the ground.

Garp: Relax for a while, we're almost there. Marineford will be visible anytime now. I'm gonna go and drink some tea.

Garp and the rest of the soldiers went inside.

(Y/N) took a breath out and laid down on the deck.

(Y/N): I need to get stronger... Enough to not lose my life anytime soon.

The young man brought the blade up on the air again.

(Y/N): Thanks to this, I was able to go up against Vice Admiral Garp for a little.

The blade was shining from the sunlight.

(Y/N): I guess I need to call you something. I don't know what your original name was, but... How about Tona?

The blade still shining from the sunlight remained still.

(Y/N): Tona. That has a nice ring to it.

After saying that, (Y/N) fell asleep.

Not knowing that Marineford was nearing and how his life will completely change in there.
