Chapter 06

Today was the day you would go on a date with the one and only Fuji Shikimori, one of your childhood best friend and your crush.

You were getting ready for the date. You wore whatever you found more comfortable for a walk and grabbed your phone to see what time it is.

For some reason you weren't as stressed as you thought you would be. Sure you were embarrassed but you were also happy. Not many people have the chance to go out with their crush and get asked by them.

TIME SKIP

The pink hair boy came to pick you from your house. He was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie, something so simple yet it made me look perfect. But let's be real, everything looks perfect on him.

When he saw you a big smile found it's way on his face, his blue eyes shining when you walked out of your house.

- Y/N! Hello!
- Hello Fuji! You said with a smile
- Are you ready to go?

You nodded your head as yes and grabbed his hand to lead the way.

ike that both of you went to an theme park. It is something clisé but it is clisé for a reason. It works like a charm

As we all could guess both of you played games. Fuji tried to win some stuff for you but half the time he failed, which made you laugh and Fuji was trying to hide his embarrassment like the day at the mall.

You ate delicious food and laughing at each other's jokes, even when some of them were bad. You stopped walking when you came across a ferris wheel.

Your eyes widen and your face became hot

Fuji turned to look at you with his usual smile and asked you
- It's pretty late. Would you like to go home or go for a ride first?

You stayed silent for a minute. You said yes since you were having fun and you were with the man of your dreams. Both of you wait for a while but you eventually stepped in the ferris wheel.

The view was breathtaking and I am not talking only about the sky. Everything was perfect.Your head was leaning on the window, observing the boy you were with.

Your heart started beating faster yet you didn't care. You were both happy and tired. You opened your mouth and close your eyes

Silence. You thought that was his answer until you opened your eyes again and saw his face.

His eyes were widen and he was making the same cute face he had when you saved him that time in the mall. He didn't say anything but just smile to you.

The ride was over and started walking towards your house. You felt awkward but you still talked to him.

You were 2 minutes away from your house and you had nothing else to say, or that's what you thought [ but let's be honest most of you might already know where I'm going with this ]

Fuji opened his mouth and say:
- You know we can't be together right now

You stopped walking and looked at him, he didn't looked back to you and kept walking. You ran to catch up to him as he still talked

- You are seventeen and I'm an adult
[ All of us know that Fuji is twenty something but I can't find his actual age so if you know please tell me ]

- I know but in a year I'll be eighteen...

If the silence in the ferris wheel was not awkward that the silence right now definitely was

You grabbed his head to make him stopped and finally looked at you. His attention was fully on you and you said

- Please wait for me to grow up! Just wait for a year!

He put his hand on your head and smile

- Sure. Make sure to grow up fast

The walk was still awkward but you felt more relieved than before, also you were closer to your house so you could go to your room and feel embarrassed all you want after Fuji would leave [ 👍 ]

Both of you stopped outside your house, you were looking for your keys. You found them and opened the door. You turned to looked at the pink hair boy just to see him already looking at you with a small smile

- What is it? You asked feeling confused by his look

- You said to wait for you for a year...

- Yeah. What about it? You felt even more confused

- That will be very easy for me, you know. He now had a smirk on his face and a cocky tone on his voice

- Oh really?

He nodded his head and asked

- Wanna know why?

- Sure... 

He took a deep breath and said

- Because I've being wait for years

You eyes widen and blush found it's way on your cheeks. After processing fully what he said the two of you started laughing

- That was smooth!

- I know! Well I should better get going.

He waved you good bye and turned to leave while you went inside your house still giggling, bit little did you know that what he said was true
