We trudged through the deep forest, looking out for any signs of Narnians or Telmarines. Susan and Lucy had told me about their first time here.

At first, I could not believe them, but then thought about the time Harry and I used a time-turner to save Sirius and came up with a conclusion that Narnia was in another dimension and that due to the different dimensions, time here goes by differently.

Soon, we reached a strong river which seemed impossible to cross. "We went in the wrong direction. There's no way we can make our way down that steep slope. Let's go." said Peter. "Aslan! He was right...there." said Lucy as she kept muttering 'I saw him, he was standing there...' Truth be told, I saw a flash of a golden mane but it disappeared. "Lucy, no is there. "said Susan. Trumpkin said,"You probably just saw a stray lion. There are many wild ones here.". "I think I know Aslan when I see him." Lucy snapped at him. "Well, I saw Aslan too." I said. "The last time I did not listen to Lucy, I ended up looking quite stupid..." said Edmund with a bewildered look on his face. "You were probably just imagining things. The river is too strong to pass. Let's go back in another direction." said Peter. "Fine! But I saw him, I'm not crazy..." snapped Lucy as she trudged off. I went up to her and whispered,' don't worry, I saw him too." She smiled at me and we walked on.

A few hours later, we reached a large clearing. We nearly walked into it when the boys suddenly pulled us back and muffled our shrieks.

We peered over the bushes and saw, Telmarines. Hundreds of them building a bridge, making weapons and more.'Let's go. I guess that this is the wrong direction as well. Let's go back to the river." said Peter. We walked back, and Susan asked," So, Lucy where did you see Aslan?". "Oh, so now you believe me, is it? Well, I saw him right over... Ahhh...here." said Lucy. "Well, I guess we found a way to cross the river!" I said as I followed Lucy, with the others following after me.

After a while, we crossed the river and had reached another clearing, much smaller than the one the Telmarines were in. "Hello, Mr Bear! How do you do?" said Lucy suddenly. Susan gasped and Peter said,' Lucy, don't move a muscle..." The bear suddenly growled and charged at Lucy. Being the nearest, I did the craziest thing ever, I ran forward, grabbed Lucy and ran. We reached a cliff and stopped in our tracks. Turning, I gulped and pushed the queen behind me and took my enchanted daggers and started throwing them at the bear. Some hit the target the bear ran forward and swiped at my leg, angered even further. Its claws scratched one of my legs, but I jumped back and protected Lucy with my body acting as a shield. I waited for the pain that never came, I turned and saw the bear dead on the floor, an arrow piercing its heart.

At first, I thought it was Susan, but then to my shock, it was Trumpkin's arrow that had been released. I let out a sigh of relief and checked Lucy all over and asked her, "Are you alright?"." You're hurt, yet you ask me if I am injured. I'm so sorry!" Lucy started to cry and I hugged her, consoling her. She calmed down and poured a droplet of the juice in the cordial in my mouth.

To my ultimate shock (once again!!!), my leg healed and I felt healthier. I grinned at the girl before me before looking at Peter and Trumpkin who were skinning the massive creature. Uh, that's disgusting. Susan was making a campfire and Lucy went to assist her in collecting twigs and branches for the fire. But, where was Edmund? Suddenly, someone came behind me and pulled me to my feet. I yelped and turned, but when I saw who it was, I blushed a crimson red. He said," Thanks for...um...saving my sister. Nice dagger, you throw quite...well." I stammered a reply," Um...yeah...let's go help them!" Quickly making an escape route, I bolted off towards the girls, but in my mind, a question popped up," Was he blushing?"...

After, eating a pretty scrumptious, heavy dinner, I fell asleep with Lucy sleeping next to me, using my stomach as a pillow.

[THE NEXT DAY]

I woke up before the others and saw Lucy entering the forest; I walked quietly behind her and tapped her shoulder. She jumped but immediately calmed when she saw me. We walked around, just observing the beautiful Narnian forests. We were about to walk into a small clearing when Peter grabbed us from behind and clamped his hands on Lucy's and my mouths, pulling us quickly behind a bush. We peeked through the leaves and saw a Minotaur and Peter crept behind it. Just as Peter, was about to attack, another boy attacked him. Lucy ran to get the others, but I saw the Minotaur about to attack Peter from behind, so I started to duel with it.

While it had strength, I had skill. I out powered it and placed my sword, centimeters away from its left eye, half-standing on it. This position was effective as immediately, the massive beast stopped struggling. Suddenly, there were a clatter of hooves and some centaurs, fawns, dwarfs and mice and more animals came out from behind the trees. At one glance, we knew we were outnumbered. I noticed the crest of a lion on some of the mice and I realized that these were Narnians! "Narnians..." muttered Peter shaking his head in disbelief. The young dark-haired man who looked like he was as old as Peter suddenly asked,' Who are you people?" He held, Rhindon, Peter's sword and when he examined it, he muttered, "Impossible..." Suddenly, Lucy and the others burst through and shouted, "Peter!". 'High King Peter?" asked the boy. "I believed you called..." said Peter, a sense of arrogance around him. The boy replied in more of a statement than a question," I just thought you all will be older...", as he glanced at us, a bit too long at Susan. Peter immediately replied, "Well, if you don't like it, we could always come back later" and immediately he said," No!" I felt him and Peter sizing one another up, so, to break the ice, I said, "This is High Queen Susan, King Edmund and Queen Lucy." suddenly, everyone's eyes were on me. "I am Prince Caspian, but who are you who announce their names?" the boy said, pointing his sword at me.

This action angered me, to put things lightly and I snapped back at 'Prince' Caspian,' how dare you point a blade at a lady, and you call yourself a Prince? I am Hermione Jean Granger, I was attacked by Telmarines and my majesties helped me, so don't you go about pointing swords at me, or I will be extremely angry and believe me, you do not want me angry..." With that, I stepped forward, slapped him and then stomped my way back to a grinning Lucy and a smirking Peter.
