Chapter 13: Plantars

"So let me get this straight... there is a world of talking anphropromorthic frogs living in another WORLD that you can only travel to using a music box with three gems on it?" Asked Caleb. Anne noded a yes. "That... explains so much. Its like everything thats happened in my life has just been given reasons to why they happened," said Tiffany. Anne was still looking down at the floor with a sad expression. Tiffany saw this. "Look, i know its hard to believe something like this would ever have happened but..." she said before placing her hand on Annes shoulder. Anne looked at her. "...im here for you." "Thank you Tiffany," said Anne, forcing a slight smile on her face.

"Attention all fliers!" Everyone listened to the captain speak. "We are officially landing in the Amazon rainforest. Please dont get off your seats as were landing." "Looks like were here!" Said Caleb. "Yeah..." said Anne, still looking at the speaker. Then... the plane landed.

Everyone got off the plane and took their belongings. As you left the plane, you could see peaple bringing huge boxes over to some remote area from the landing sight. There were only two more boxes to bring to the hideout so this shouldnt take long. But the best part... the view. Looking at the vast greenery of the forest made Anne feel something in her stomach. It reminded her of Amphibia and it didnt make it any better since she knew Sprig was somewhere here.

She walked over to Tiffany and Caleb who had already went in the car they were using to get to their destination. She placed her bags in the back and got on. It took about 5 minutes of driving in the vast rainforest to get to the hideout. It was a giant treehouse, one that Anne wouldve wanted when she was younger. There were multiple crates and filming eguipment all over the outside of the base. Anne was shocked they could even get the car past them.

"Welcome to the hideout!" Said Tiffany. "Wow! Its so... beautiful!" Said Anne. "I know right," answered Caleb. They got inside and into their rooms for the week. On the way there she saw the kitchen. It was full of food and they were still bringing more into pantry. They will definetly survive for a week with that much supplies. Anne laid in her bed and immidietly thought of Sasha. "I cant get her out of my head, can i?" Anne chuckled. "Hey! Everyone come down here! We have good news!" Already? Thought Anne.

Annes POV: (sry, i started writing this and then i realized it wasnt Annes POV until now :( )

I walked down to ground level and went outside to see what the man was going to say. I saw Caleb and Tiffany standing there, impatiently. "What is it Mike?" Asked Caleb. So his name is Mike? Well thats good to know. "We have officially captured the frog and placed it in a safe enclosure right there. Come and see!" He explained. We then followed him with curious stares. Did he really capture it?

We went over there to see a giant metal cube with a big glass window on one side to see into the enclosure. We werent right next to it yet but you could definetly see some tree logs and a forest themed wallpaper with leaves, sticks and rocks everywhere. We then got infront of the glass and looked inside. There was nothing. "So where is it?" Asked Tiffany. "Its there, behind the log!" said Mike. We looked closer. There it was. A pink frog with clothes and goggles just sitting behind the log.

"Its bigger than i thought," said Caleb. "Anne, are you seeing this?" I didnt answer. "Anne?" "Open the window," i said. "W-what?! That thing could be poisonous! You cant just go in like that!" Explained Mike. "Hes not poisonous," i said. He looked at me in complete shock before opening the window. "Alright, whatever you say."

I walked in the enclosure and looked over the log. It was definetly him. No doubt. He also looked... sad. Like he had just lost something. Maybe... Polly and Hop Pop are here too... I went around the log and looked at him. He didnt notice me. Everyone was looking at me either afraid... or confused. I finally said something.

"Sprig?..." i asked. His eyes widend and he looked at me. "A-Anne?..." he said while tears started to role down his eyes. I waved with a smile. He started to cry more and then jumped at me to hug me. "ANNE!" I hugged him back, tight as i cried. I hadnt seen him in so long. I missed him so much. "I missed you so much. I was looking for you everywhere!" he explained while he started to cry more (Somehow 🤔). I pulled away from the hug, still holding him in my arms. "Me too. I was scared id never see you again," i explained. "Hop Pop and Polly are still somewhere there. I-i can find them for you if you want," he said. So i was right... I wiped away his tears before hugging him again. "Thanks little bro." "No problem big sis."

Then... we heard a cough. I looked to the side to see everyone... dumbfounded. "Uhhh... who are they?" Sprig asked. "Uhm..." "Mrs. Boonchuy. What in gods name is going on?!" Screamed a familier voice. "Oh no..." i said, guietly. It was Mrs. Karen. She was pretty mad that i was talking to a random frog that 'could be poisonous' and saying im his older sister. I am screwed. "Come here right now. And leave that creature there where he belongs and is safe," she commanded. "Uhh... i-i can explain!" I tried to say but dropped Sprig in the process. "Oww. I thought youd be over that habbit!" "Sorry Sprig!"

I went with Mrs. Karen over to her office, leaving Sprig behind but promissing id be back. She then brought all the employees there too. Im suprised they all fit here. "So... care to explain?" She asked. I started to swet. I was scared. How would i explain it. I then took a deap breath and said something that i regret saying. "Would you believe me if i said i went to another world of talking frogs, watched my two friends almost die infront of me, sacrifice myself for the safety of said world and get reincarnated after being given a job by god herself?" Everyones mouths dropped and immidietly regreted my words. I... am gonna get fired.

Sprigs POV:

I wonder where Anne is. Speaking of Anne, I MISSED HER SOOOOO MUUUUUUCH! Shes grown so tall and... she has longer hair... her clothes are pretty... The peaple working there saw me crying and speaking about Anne that they went away. How rude. Turns out they were getting Anne for me. How kind of them!

When i saw Anne i immidietly jumped at her. Also the window was down so i could be with her. "Anne!" I shouted. "Hey Sprig. Why are you crying?" She asked. "I dont want you to leave me ever again!" I shouted. "I was gone for like five minutes!" She explained. "Thats too much time without youuuuuuu!" I said as i cried again. She then picked me up and hugged me. "Look, i know you miss me alot but if i have to go to the bathroom while you hold my hand cause you dont wanna be without me again, its gonna cause some problems," she explained. "Yeah, your right," i answered.

She placed me back down on the ground and i hopped onto a log inside my cage. "So, do you know where Polly and HP are?" she asked. "Yeah! Their over by the river," i explained. "Well... thats not the best advice considering the fact that there is alot of rivers here but okay," she said. "Well its a big river, thats all i can say," i said. "Well, thanks for the advice Sprig. Imma go look for them now," she said. "Okay, ill miss ya bestie!" I shouted as she walked over to... somewhere.

I wonder how Sasha and Marcy are doing...
