It all started with a locket of hair.

On a Friday my friends Karleigh and Alyson dragged me to a Justin Bieber concert. I wasn’t the biggest fan, he was okay but let’s just say I wasn’t crying when he flipped his hair out of his eyes. Why I went I’m not sure but what I do know is that it led to the best moments of my life. By the way I’m Samantha and this is the story of how a small town girl from Canada fell in love with a small town boy from Canada who just happened to be one of if not the biggest stars in the world.

“Come on it’ll be fun we promise!” They whined in unison.

Kalreigh and Alyson seemed to both know how to make their voices as monotone as possible to make me crack.

“If I go deaf because I let you two drag me to a Justin bieber concert I swear.” I muttered.

“That’s a yes!” Karleigh screeched.

So I let them drag me to the show. Never underestimate the power of teenage girls. Some were crying while other were singing along to the same song I’ve been trying to knock out of my head since I heard Karleigh sing it the first time. The roaring sounds of their voice slammed into my brain as I stood there in my shorts and tank top.

Everywhere I looked I saw Bieber. On a t-shirt or any other ridiculous things imaginable he had no business being on. It got to the point where we were sitting in the arena front row. Alyson’s parents were rich and always giddy to get her whatever she wanted. I felt bad that a ticket in the front row was being waster on me but at the same time it was difficult not to get pumped with such amazing energy around you.

Twlight hit and it was close to show time when Karleigh and Alyson started to cheer with splendid delight with the rest of the “beliebers”. But that didn’t stop Alyson from handing me the creepiest thing I’d ever seen. It was a framed piece of his hair. I stared at if for while with a clamorous feel in my body.

“Alyson did you seriously just give me a lock of this dude’s hair?” I asked astonished.

She chuckled like a blonde despite her obviously naturally dark hair. “It helps get you ready for Justin. You need to just relax and get ready to have your mind blown.”

I reluctantly put it in my pocket as she tried to prepare me for a concert even if it sounded like we were about to get high or some ridiculousness and the show finally began.

To be honest the concert was pretty amazing. He came out in this silver ball with fog covering the stage like the graveyard in Thriller. He stared at them all with true love in his heart for his fans, which seemed to amaze me. It started off with him slamming into Love Me and from there, there was never a dull moment. I found myself liking hwat he was doing. When he smiled I smiled and when he laughed I laughed. Everything was perfect despite the odd feeling in my gut to like Justin Bieber. But nothing compared to the amazingness of what came next.

Every girl in the audience seemed to lock eyes with him and then he spoke. His voice reminded me of bells ringing, beautiful rhythms sliding out peacefully from his throat.

“I need, I need one less lonely girl to come on stage for me.”

He listened to the roar of fans and moved ascent up a ramp before walking back to the middle of that stage. Someone grabbed me from behind, which I thought was Alyson or Karleigh.

“Would you like to be the one less lonely girl?” The man asked.

Kenny Hamilton. I knew him as the only bodyguard Justin had but I was frozen in shock for a second.
