I never really liked flying. But I'll just have to make do. If I want to forget and be happy.
Me and Mikasa both step out of the smelly cab. Handing the impatient man his money. "We are" Mikasa looks down at her ticket, "flight 104 west".
I nod while taking in a deep breath. "Let's go" I say getting a jolt of energy through my body making me walk. We walked side by side until we got to the counter. "Welcome to Tristate Airways how may I help you?" the staff member said with a welcoming smile. "Two for 104 to Medford Washington, America" Mikasa said taking the upper hand when I stood behind her shyly.
"There ya go" the kind lady said while handing our tickets in. We start to walk towards the gate "be careful and have fun in America!" the staff member yelled making sure we noticed her "thank you" I turn around saying while waving my hand.
I smile and turn around to see Mikasa giving me an anxious stare. I nod telling her that I'm ready. We walk for somewhat more to the gate. We hand a man taller than me our tickets. He scanned them not saying anything and lead us through the small hallway towards the door to the plane. "Thank you" I say getting a nod in response.
Mikasa dragged my to a window seat and motioned me to to sit down. I accepted and took my seat looking out the window. It was silence for a while. Like the uncomfortable silence. "Are you scared?" Mikasa asked "out of my pants" I say trying to lift the mood. She nodded while responding "it will be ok I'm sure our new foster parents will love us" she smiled "well they won't love us as much if we are cranky for being tired so let's try to sleep". "Okay" I say getting situated in a comfortable position to sleep. "Rest well Eren" Mikasa said while closing her eyes as we shot through the air at who knows what speed.
