"Hey y/n!" Kaminari says brightly, a smile on his face that seems to light up the room.

"Hey sparky," you reply, a teasing smile on your face. You've been at UA for over a month now, and you've grown very close to Kaminari. Every time you speak to him you get butterflies in your stomach and feel a gentle blush spread across your cheeks. He makes you feel a little flustered every time he sees you because he's always so FLIRTATIOUS.

But you're completely fine with it. You haven't yet told him that you like him, but don't plan to any time soon. Best to let him not know right now so that way you can be sure if he likes you back or not.

Today you two had plans to go take a little walk in the park, seeing as it was a Saturday and you just didn't want to stay at the dorms all day sitting around and dying of boredom.

You thought it was precious that he always wanted to spend time with you, even canceling days with his other friends just to see you for a little longer.

That's one of the reasons that you think he might like you back. He's always trying to be with you, no matter the circumstances.

And he always comes to you with anything he needs help with and you gladly help him. One day it could be math, and the next it could be something to do with his home life, how he misses his family.

You get up, grab your sunglasses and head out the door with kaminari, a little skip in your step. You merrily walked beside him as you guys made your way to the park for a nice afternoon in the warm sunlight filtering down through the spaces in the trees that aren't too thick for light to get through.

The park was beautiful, the air cool and crisp from the fall air yet still warm because of the bright smile coming from Kaminari's face every time he looked at you.

"Y/n... I have something to tell you."

You look at him questioningly, desperately wanting to know what he wants to say.

"I... I kind of..... think these cherry blossoms are beautiful!" he rushes to get all of his words out.

You thought it was quite adorable when he fumbled for his words. And you loved every second he spent with you.

"Is that all you wanted to say Kami?" you giggle as he blushes and looks nervous, "It's okay, you don't have to tell me. I was just messing with you."

You watch his features go from anxious to relieved in a matter of seconds, and you can't help but smile back at him as he beams at you.

"Y'know y/n, you really make me nervous sometimes," Kaminari states as he fiddles with his thumbs.

"I know."

Your brown hair curls around your finger as you look at Kaminari with a smile on your face, the sun rising high above the both of you as the day wears on.

You and Kaminari walk in companionable silence as you venture along the beaten path in the park, and admire the beautiful plants not yet gone, but changing color with the seasons. Out of the corner of your eye, you see that he has something on his mind, but you decide not to pressure him.
