Saiko looked at herself in the mirror as she inspected her outfit. She didn't pick the outfit Akira pulled out for her. For one, she wasn't sure exactly where she was going. And two, Shinichiro didn't tell her if she would wear something fancy or not. So she tried to find something that balanced each other. Something a bit casual but not too casual and it wasn't anything fancy on the off chance they do go somewhere fancy.

She took a deep breath as she tried to get excited about the date. "You'll do great. It's only three months. Three months and that million is mine." She soon groaned. "God, I sound like a prostitute."

Letting out another breath, Saiko grabbed her bag and headed downstairs. Yuuichi was in the living room with a manga in his hand and soon raised a brow as he spotted Saiko fixing her hair.

"Heading out?" he asked, even though he knew the answer.

"Yeah. I won't be gone long. Haru is at Kenma's house for the night so you'll be by yourself until I get home. Please don't destroy the house while I'm gone."

"That's a nice outfit for just hanging out with Taiga."

"I, uh, I got a date." The siblings heard the doorbell ring. Yuuichi became very confused when Saiko groaned. "He's already here."

"You don't sound too happy."

He narrowed his eyes when Saiko forced a smile on her face. "I am happy. It's just...he's early and I'm not ready. I forgot to call Ryusei's mom because I completely forgot I promised to watch him tomorrow."

Yuuichi stood up. "You can call her. I'll just tell whoever's at the door you'll be a couple of minutes," he said. This was really his opportunity to see who's the son of a bitch that asked his sister out.

"Thanks, Yuu."

Yuuichi forced a smile on his face. The moment Saiko left, the smile dropped into a scowl. He turned the doorknob and opened the door. Shinichiro stood at the other side with a smile on his face.

This guy, seriously? Yuuichi thought in disgust.

Shinichiro blinked a few times in confusion. "I'm sorry. I think I got the wrong house. I'm looking for Saiko Himeno," he said.

Yuuichi tsked. "No, you got the right house. Saiko will be out soon." He noticed a small bouquet of roses in Shinichiro's hand and rolled his eyes. "Flowers on a first date? Really?"

Shinichiro ignored his comment and held his hand out. "I'm Shinichiro Sano. It's nice to meet you..."

Yuuichi could have sworn he heard that name somewhere but he couldn't put a finger where. "Don't care." He eyed Shinichiro up and down. "I don't get it."

"Get what?" Shinichiro wondered. He doesn't know who this kid is. And he didn't like the way he was talking to him.

"I don't understand how a loser like you could manage to get a date with my sister." He placed his thumb and pointer finger on his chin as if he were in deep thought. "Out of all the guys in the world, what makes you so special?"
