Well, Alen had a large number of friends but he was mainly close with only three of them. They were more of a gang, the people he goes to whenever he feels like he's gonna lose it all.
They weren't just his best friends, more like his family. They all visited each other's homes whenever they wanted to, just like they all owned it together. All his friends' parents loved him like their own child. He was one that wouldn't ever disappoint them, with anything.
Well, his three close friends were - John, Henry and Grace. They had the friendship everyone wished they had with their friends. They were always each other's ride or die.
Well, John was always a little too much of a softie to Grace. Henry and Alen always jokingly shipped them both which Grace didn't really like but on the other hand, John wasn't really complaining about that.
They were a happy little group of friends. They all comforted and stayed by each other's side when someone among them was having a hard time. And everyone from the group loved Alex regardless of his health condition. Alex loved being around them and they all hung out together whenever they got time. There was no hate between them, just love and always love...
One fine evening, while the gang was having their regular tea talk session
'Bro, I am bored, shall we play a game of Ludo?' - asked Henry.
Ludo was their signature game, just like how Pizza is their signature dish. They all knew how to make pizzas from scratch and they had it whenever they hung out, thus it's their signature dish. Same with Ludo.
'Ah sure thing, I am good with it. What about you too, lovebirds?' Alen asked looking at John and Grace who were watching something from Grace's phone, together.
'First of all, Alen, stop. Second of all, yes. Ludo sounds amazing.' Grace said rolling her eyes.
'Yeah, I guess.'- John added.
'We should totally invite Alex to play the game with us, please Alen??' - Grace asked looking at Alen with her round puppy eyes.
'Oh my- Yes! Alex is a natural pro at this.'- said Henry while John just nodded.
John can be a bit quiet at times.
'Alright, let me go get him. I am sure he would enjoy some classic Ludo game. Also, Johny, could you please get all the things while I go get Alex and I'll grab some snacks on my way back.'
' yeah, sure. I guess'- John said slowly getting up from the chair.
It seemed like he was lost in thoughts.
It was clear once he came back with a cutting board instead of the board game-
'SERIOUSLY JOHNY BOY? out of all the items you could have got, a cutting board?-' Henry asked before bursting out laughing.
Grace started laughing and soon both of them were out of breath seeing this hilarious sight of John holding a cutting board when he was asked to get a board game set.
'It wasn't a cutting board? Ugh.' - John said groaning.
'It was the ludo game set'- Henry added while wiping away the tears of laughter.
'Bro, your dumbness puts cherry on the cake, you know that?' Grace says laughing.
Mr. Johny boy was blushing now-
'Either way, let me click a picture of this for the groupchat.'- Henry said taking out his phone from his back pocket, still laughing.
'I- I better go get the set before Alen gets back with Alex, see ya both.'- John walks away quickly almost bumping into objects around.
'How funny is he.'- says Henry
'Funnier than a monkey, that's for sure.'- Grace added.
Soon Alen entered the room with Alex. Seeing both of them laughing happily made Alen's face light up with joy. It was so nice to see your loved ones have fun.
'Oh my goodness, here comes my favorite Hutchins-' said Henry looking at Alen with a funny face.
'Excuse me, I am still here.' added Alen hitting Henry with his elbow while laughing.
Grace reached out for her backpack and took a chocolate bar out of it. Then, she looked over at Alex who was smiling with his cute little bubbly smile and handed it over to him.
'aH my little chubby bear' said Grace while holding his chubby cheeks.
"Say thank you to Gracie, Alex"- Said Alen standing on his knees to reach his brother's height.
"Thenk yeoww"- said Alex smiling.
"Ahhh you're so cutee!" - Grace said like she could die from Alex's cuteness any minute now.
'He got it from his brother, you knoww' says Alen with his goofy smile and hands over a packet of crisps, some soft drinks and some cinnamon rolls from a square shaped light blue box.
'Eww, Alen? Cute? Hell nah.'- said Henry laughing.
'Bro poor Alen. he cute too'- said Grace.
'Grace speaking facts.'- Alen said running his hands through his silky hair.
'Anyway, here's the snacks I got. Sorry I took too long. We'll order food out later. Alright guys?' - Alen said putting down the snacks on top of the small round table.
'But mommy is making food for all of you in the kitchen.'- said Alex looking over at Alen
'Oh okay, sounds good! where is Johny boy?? Isn't he back from hunting for the ludo set??'- Alen said while he was still arranging the snacks and drinks.
'Nah, bro. That's a long story. But in short, he came back with a cutting board and we send him off to get the actual board.'- said Henry.
Alex and Alen looked at each other and chuckled.
'It was so funny, sad that you both missed the funniest moment of history.'- said Grace.
'Yeahh. Either way, I have posted a pic of him on the groupchat. Check it out.' Henry said while texting the groupchat on his phone.
Alen took out his cellphone and opened their groupchat. He took one look at the picture and started laughing till he was out of breath.
'The look on his face, Johny boy is hilarious .'- Alen said laughing.
Right then, John entered the room with the ludo set, took him long enough..
'Ah, finally. You're back Mr. John. Took you longer than we thought'- Grace said with a friendly smirk on her face.
'What happened? Did you go there to get a ludo set or to make one?'- Henry said while hitting John's arm playfully.
Grace, Alex and Alen was laughing at this.
They played a good game of Ludo, chatted, munched on snacks and had dinner together with Alen's mother and she made it a big fat feast for them. There were lots of food, different types and don't get me started on the desserts, there were tons. After eating all of it, they were all so full that they were not even able to walk.
After all this, they ended the day with a movie. Their favorite, Mean Girls..
At the end, it was a day well spent and that's for sure!
