Every angel in heaven is assigned to an aspect of life and earth. Some angels are assigned to wisdom and knowledge; some are assigned to nature and all natural occurences. Some angels have unique assignments that only he or she possesses. I'm one of those unique angels.
I'm the angel of energy. Most humans on earth call it "vibes" or "life forces." They all mean the same thing, and I am assigned to take charge of the energy that radiates around the earth. Enough good energy can make a human happy; less good energy and more bad energy can make a human angry, sad, or stressed. Of course, the bad energy doesn't come from heaven. As angels, we only want to bring peace and happiness to the world. Anything opposite that, comes from the Evil One.
If something is good, another is bound to be bad. Aside from the angels here in heaven, some angels have become outcast from the light and have become a fallen one or a fallen angel. They were the angels who tried to surpass the majesty of the Creator, chose to accompany the Evil One, or have become seduced by the pleasures of human desire. They mislead people to the wrong paths, sometimes pretending to be angels themselves. They become more and more gruesome by the evil deeds they commit, turning into what humans call, "demons."
Heaven is an indescribable. It is a place no human can fathom and interpret. It is a place of pure happiness, joy, and beyond the value of goodness. It is a place of pure light, or rather, heaven is pure light that is too big for even the universe to hold. It is a place where the souls of the faithful finally meet their Creator and live in eternal happiness. It is a place where 'perfection" is only a fraction of the impossibility to put to words what heaven is like.
Maximo, the messenger angel, comes over to where I'm standing in the garden of light. Here, every botanical wonder, from the tiniest moss to the tallest tree flourish. The creations here never die, they merely come and go, like a sudden breeze in the night air. They disappear when they become extinct on earth; a sad occurrence indeed.
"Ariana, you are being called by the Council Representatives. Your presence is highly appreciated as soon as you can." said Maximo, his face wiped of all emotion as usual.
"What is it that they need of me? Have I done something wrong?"
"No, Ariana, not at all. Though I am not certain of the meeting's purpose. It is best that you find out yourself."
"Alright, thank you Maximo. I'll be there."
Maximo disappears and is out of sight, just like a mist being blown away. He has his own wings, quite large, but angels do not need to use them here in heaven. Anything of a material composition doesn't exist here. The things that do exist here, such as the garden of light, can only be explained as light so intense, it almost seems real.
I open my wings as big as it can stretch. They're not so large, not as large as Maximo's, but unlike the wings of most angels, mine have a hint of yellow on the tips of each feather. They glint and sparkle when hit by a ray of light at certain parts of heaven.
I take flight and flutter above the fluffy cotton ground. I pass the angels of music who are singing their melodious songs and playing their extraordinarily joyous instruments. They wave their hellos when they notice me fly by. Their halos are bright yellow, indicating happiness. My halo is white, indicating serenity.
I arrive at the House of Judgement, a big, white mansion where important decisions that concern the whole Kingdom are made. It was here where the Evil One was put to trial and cast down to Hell, along with his apostles. That was the very first of its kind in the history of the Kingdom.
The doors are opened and I flutter inside, stopping in front of the three highest Representatives; James, the angel of Justice, Alexander, the angel of Reasoning, and Ralphealo, the Archangel, a warrior of Heaven.
"Salutations, Ariana." said James.
"You have been called for a special mission." said Alexander.
"What is this mission, your excellency?" I said.
"You shall be sent to earth to be the angel guide of Miguel Leonai of the town of Sparks." said Ralphealo.
"Will I be his guardian angel?" I said.
"Not exactly, Ariana. You will take the form of a human and become his mentor." said James.
"A mentor? What will I mentor him for?" I said.
"Miguel has powers that are much related to yours. He is a gifted one. Heaven needs him to function well in his town or else... the Dark Forces will have a town in their hands." said Alexander.
"Is it time? Has Judgement Day come, your excellency?" I said.
"Only the Creator knows of the day, Ariana. Nonetheless, we should not allow the Dark Forces to have the upper hand."
"If this is the Creator's will, then so be it." I said.
"Marcus will take over your transformation. You shall exit the gates of the Kingdom and descend through the Polaris. May the Almighty One be with you always." said Ralphealo.
Ralphealo ushers me out of the House of Judgement and into the Chamber of Art, a pillar building only a few light paces away. We enter the mansion and stop our wings just as the enormous doors close behind us.
"Are you ready, Ariana?" said Ralphealo.
"Yes, I am." I said, not sure of what's to come. Marcus emerges from a room on the left of the hallway and comes over to where Ralphealo and I are.
"Hello Ariana," said Marcus, bowing a little as he says his greetings. He bows as well as he greets Ralphealo.
"Ariana is ready for the transformation, Marcus."
"Ah yes, right this way Ariana.": Marcus leads the way as Ralphealo leaves the Chamber. An inscription on top of the room's door reads:
HUMAN ANATOMY
We enter the room, revealing walls lined with every human detail; hair in different colors, eyes in different hues, skin from the palest to the darkest, and many more.
"Let's begin your transformation." said Marcus, moving towards the wall lined with different hair colors and styles.
Marcus places his hands over the hair with a dark brown color and his hands light up for a second (as if time ever existed here in Heaven). He then places his hands over my own transparent hair which lights up again and turns my hair into a beautiful dark brown.
"Do you like the hair?" said Marcus.
"It's amazing." I said, satisfying Marcus.
He then moves towards the wall lined with every kind of eye color. He chooses a pair of hazel eyes and places his hands on them, glowing again. He then holds out 2 fingers, each one placed on one of my colorless pupils. His fingers glow and turn my pupils hazel. I notice his own eyes light up and glow a bright white whenever he transforms a part of me. He proceeds with my skin, changing my paper white, pale skin into a normal peach color.
"Am I finished, Marcus?"
"One last detail." He moves towards my back, placing his hands on both of my wings.
"It's a shame to lose wings as beautiful like yours, Ariana. But we have to make you look as human as possible." said Marcus, confusing me as to what he's about to do with my wings.
His hands on my wings start to glow as bright as diamonds. My wings shrink down until none of it is left except a tattoo of two wings inscribed on my back. They now serve as my only mark of being an angel.
Marcus motions his hands over my body, making a blue, loose-fitting dress appear on my body.
"Now, you are truly a human."
