I mean, I'm the kind of person who can't feel anything toward someone. I appreciate you for being sincere but the answer is still no. It will never change. I'm so sorry.” Winter said, giving her space and walking out.
That night, she cried with all her frustration. Why can't winter just give her a chance? Her eyes look at me like I'm a weirdo and it hurts more than I thought.
“Giselle, you need to stop drinking! What are you doing to yourself?” Karina, Her friend shouted at her while grabbing all the bottles on the floor.
“Who hurt you? Is it winter, again? How many times do I need to tell you to stop chasing her!” Karina composed herself, trying to give her friend comfort.
“I can't, she's the girl that I needed in my life.” Giselle pushed her.
“Why don't you break up with her, Karina?” She was shocked by the sudden revelation.
She dated winter for more than a year. She hates herself, she keeps on blaming herself for everything.
But then, she tried to lie again. “What do you mean, Giselle?”
Her friend’s face was giving her questioning looks or rather trying to give her a cold stare.

I saw you! You were kissing her at the park! You should have said it to me, Karina! When I saw her, I told you! I told you that I like her but you didn't say anything.”
Karina tried to reach her friend, “Calm down, Giselle. We can't talk about it, please?” She pleaded.
“Please, just go! I don't want to see your face again. I trusted you! I– I treated you like my sister but then… how?”
“Get out”
The last thing Karina heard from her best friend.
And everything went black for her.
She wishes that everything that happened between them will change but none of that is going to happen.
She lost her best friend...

She doesn't have anything to hold onto.
