*Nilufer and Persefoni POV*
We stared at the night sky above but it didn't really make us feel good. We could see the grand set up of Alara and her friends, she always got what she wanted and she never knew what it was like to not get something. I always envied her and it just got on my nerves that she and I never really became friends. I had always hoped something would happen to her back then, something nasty.
The sky was really testing our patience, it was the meteor shower of the millennium; the one that shoots meteors in all colors and sizes, and it would occur for 10 straight minutes!!
It was my birthday today too but no one gave me lavish presents or fancy dresses or at least a little set up like hers. Alas it was the way of life. What got on my nerves even more that everyone liked her, in every. Single. Way. They'd always choose her for literally everything. She was nice to everyone though, speaking of which I remember that day she had invited on her roof as she saw me. I thought it was just to show off but she really had a big open heart then!!
