"Hi! Sorry, it's been so long since I've uploaded something. I've been super busy. This story is inspired by the song title "Golden Brown" by "The Stranglers" which I definitely recommend listening too! Anyway, enjoy the story! <3Third Person POV:
"Are you almost ready? I have something amazing planned and you're taking forever" Ant said shouting up the stairs, for Dec who is taking forever to get ready"Hold up. I'm almost ready." Dec giggled as he walked down the stairs to his best friend.
"I'm excited to see what you have planned." Dec added "Why are you even taking me out at six in the event for anyway?"
"I have something amazing planned for the most special person." Ant teased. "Something for an early birthday present."
"My birthday isn't for another month.." Dec said even more confused while sitting on the stairs tying his shoelaces.
"Just- trust me. I have something great planned. Now come." Ant said holding his hand out for his best friend. Dec smiled and gladly took his friends hand, and they left Dec's house and went into Ant's car, driving to the Tyne Bridge.
*10 Minutes later*
"Close your eyes, Decky." Ant said.
Dec did not hesitate and immediately closed his eyes, trusting his best friend.
"Wait here, do not move." Ant added, as he opened the car door.
For the split second Ant got out of the drivers seat and went over to the passenger seat to go to Dec and take his hand, Dec felt incredibly vulnerable. He had no idea what was happening or where he was at this point. But he trusted his best friend.
The car door opened, and Ant took his hand gently and guided him outside the car.
"Sit." Ant commanded Dec
Dec sat onto the bonnet of the car slowly, curiosity taking over his body.
"Open your eyes." Ant said.
With that, Declan opened his eyes to see the most beautiful golden brown sunset he was ever seen in his life. The clouds were pink and orange, the sky was orange and yellow and it looked like paradise on earth. Dec felt extremely peaceful, it felt like all of his troubles at stopped for the split second.
"Wow.. this is gorgeous." Dec said still gazing at the pink clouds.
"I knew you'd like it." Ant blushed
"Thank you, Anth." Dec said, hugging his best friend closely to him. "This is gorgeous."
Ant pulled out of the hug and put his arm around Dec's back for a side hug, and the two sat on the car bonnet watching the sunset disappear and stars rising.
