The New Recruit

Marie's Pov

I was in my dim lab that I shared with my trainer Elliot Clayton a 17 year old teenager with black hair, black shirt with a creepy looking bunny on it, he also had a black jacket a studded choker a necklace with 3 silver beads on it, headphones around his neck, he had two Piercings one in his lip and one in his left ear, he also wore a fingerless glove on his right hand he also had purple highlighting the tips of his bangs

We were working on a code to help out our colleagues when the Vice - Chief came into our lab dragging in some light I started blinking repeatedly trying to have my eyes get used to it

"Chief Ripley has called a meeting but of course you two didn't hear because of your computers." She says

"Chill Ingrid, I'm sorry we're not able to hear Chief from the other side of HeadQuarters, but next time please knock so that Elliot and I can prepare for the lighting change, ok thanks." I say

Elliot just shrugs as Ingrid continues "Just please get to the conference room please thanks to your tardiness the only spots available are next to Dupont and Marina and next to Lars and Angela."

"Call dibs on sitting next to Lars and Angela" I say super fast

"Why do I have to sit next to Brains and beauty and Grandpa Dupont." Elliot asks

"Well 1. Because I called dibs and 2. Why are those their nicknames." I ask

"They call us Brains, Kids, and Kiddos I'm pretty sure their nicknames are fair." He responds

"Yeah, but your still last." I say getting up and running towards the conference room

"Marie." Elliot yells from our lab

I take a seat next to Angela and her husband Lars and watch in joy as Elliot has to take a seat next to our historian who loves talking people's ears off

"Just for that you have to decode the next piece of evidence that enters our lab without my help." Elliot tells me

"I think I can do it." I tell him

"Keep being cocky I'll make it 5 pieces of evidence" he says

I shake my head in disbelief as the Chief goes to her end of the table

"I know your all wondering why I've assembled you all, Jack can you bring in the surprise please." The Chief asks one of our field guys Jack Archer or as Elliot and I call him pretty boy

Jack enters the room with a brown haired tan skinned girl "Hi I'm Cadet Gizelle Harlow and I've come from Pacific Bay in the US and I'm so happy to work with new faces." The new recruit says

I look at the Chief and frown "Can I go now I need to finish that code before our computers go offline."

The Chief looks at me then at the door and nods

Gizelle's Pov

I watched the young girl leave I was hoping to get to know everyone better before I started my job

"I'de better go too she still has trouble with some of the coding." A boy in all black said as he left his chair and ran after the girl

The Chief than spoke "Well they can introduce themselves later for now as you know that's Jack." She points to the man who escorted me here and suddenly her phone beeped "Jack and Gizelle I just got a call that you need to head to Westminister Lane."

Marie's Pov

I sat down at my computer and started working on the code again when I heard the seat next to me squeak and there sat Elliot
