Mission 11- Potassium

     "But now I have a problem with Wanda". We drove back to the hotel and I stormed into the room. "Wanda", I said in intense anger. She looked up and smiled. Her smile faded when she saw Clover holding my hand. "So you lied"? "Um-I". "What's going on", Freyaj shouted. "She told me that her and Clover were dating. But obviously that was a lie". "I'm sorry I-". "Why did you lie to her Wanda", Clover asked, glaring at her. "I... I'm sorry". "Sorry doesn't excuse you". "I've had feelings for Clover for 3 years, to hear that he had a girlfriend... it broke me". "I know, I just... want him to love me too".

    "Lying isn't the way to go about that", Freyaj scoffed. "I know...", she said, crying. "You um... you need to leave", Clover said. "But I'm your partner"! "Well not anymore... you have to go, Wanda. Sorry". She grabbed all of her stuff and stormed out. "I'll be back. I love him too Blitz... I'll make you pay". I rolled my eyes and turned to Freyaj. She smiled and I smiled back. "It's great to be back together guys", Clover laughed. "Yeah", I laughed, wrapping my arms around him. He kissed me and Freyaj gagged. "I would say get a room but this is your room".

    Suddenly my phone rang. I picked it up and it was the professor. "Hi guys, I have another mission for you". "What is it this time"? "Potassium". "Another chemical"? "Blitz, there are about several other companies out there with chemicals... and they all want to take us down. Even more... you". "What? Why"? "We're the strongest of them all... and you're the most powerful toxin out there". "Where is he", I asked. "He's in Long Beach". I hung up and turned to my now two partners. "We're going to Long Beach".

    We took a flight to Long Beach and got a hotel. "Where are we supposed to find him", Clover asked. We had gotten a separate room from Freyaj. "We can find him pretending to be a worker at a I.T company not too far from here. But we can find him tomorrow", I said, kissing him. He smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I'm so happy you're mine", I told him. "Just promise me you won't leave again. It hurts to not see you for three years", he told me. "I promise", I smiled. The next day we got up to go and found Potassium. 

    We put on suits and pretended to work there. On the way to the building we got another call from the professor. "You guys will be working with another duo". "Who-"? He hung up the phone. When we got there two people were outside waiting on us. They looked very familiar. As we got closer I realized who it was. "Marceline and Lorenzo", I shouted. They were like the parents I didn't have. They started dating a year after they met. Now Lorenzo was 23 and Marceline was 22. Lorenzo was the best father figure a person could have.

    After becoming a toxin, he completely turned his life around. "Oh my god, you're all here", Marceline shouted with a smile. "I missed you so much", I said, giving Lorenzo a hug. I hugged Marceline. "I missed you too mom", I joked. "I missed you, daughter". "Wait, you and Clover are cool again", Lorenzo asked. "Yeah, we're actually dating", Clover laughed. "Oh my god"! "Well, we have plenty of time for a reunion afterwards. Right now, let's get this mission done", I said. We went inside and looked around. His name was "Parker Totem" and he was 28 years old. 

    He had pink hair so he would stand out. "I don't see-", Freyaj was cut off. A tall guy with pink hair zoomed past us holding a stack of papers. He stopped in his tracks, he could smell us. He turned around and slowly turned back around. Then he made a run for it! He dropped the papers and started running down the hall. "Stop him", Clover shouted. "He's on the 10th floor, he has nowhere to run"! He ran to the end of the hallway and jumped straight through the window. "Never mind. I got him"!  "Blitz"!

    I jumped straight out the window and started to plummet to the ground.
