Silver Shadow

Chapter 7

A few minutes before the dark elves attacked, Sister Rose sat in the children's room until she heard screaming through the hall. Sister Roser got up from the chair and opened the door to see the sisters being eaten by a creature.

'Sister what happens?' the little girl asked as she rubs her eyes. 'Children we are going to play quietly until we are out of the church' Sister Rose said as she woke up the children that slept.

The children were tried but they follow Sister Rose through the back door. Then Sister Rose watches the church go up in flames.

Jack could see the smoke in the sky 'hey Tyler, I'm going check out the smokes' Jack said as Tyler knew the smoked in the air. 'Ok, I will stay here' Tyler said as he watches Jack run toward the smoked. Tyler decides to take nap on the tree branch.

Anna walks over to the bodies and makes sure they're all dead 'we are done Anna said as she opened the portal back to the forest.

Then soon Jack came closer to the smoke but when he arrived at the burnt church. Jack transforms back to normal and wakes up the stairs to see the children that have been devoured by dark elves. 'You elves are going pay for my parent and innocent children' Jack said as punched the wood. Jack's wolf ears could hear someone a few feet from the church.

Without thinking, Jack transforms back into a wolf former ready to attack. Soon Jack ran toward Sister Rose and a few children but realize that they were not dark elves. Sister Rose reach her hand toward the wolf but Jack ran away from them.

Jack couldn't stop thinking that his revenge almost took over him. He decides to go back to the home to Ashley about the dark elf's attack on the church.

Tyler opened his eyes and realized that it was early mooring 'I need that rest' Tyler said as he stretches his arms and was about to get up from lying on the tree breach. Tyler jumps down from the tree landing on his feet but felt the knife on his throat 'so the rumour is true' Violet said as she holds the knife tight toward his throat.

Tyler grabs Violet's arm and pulls the knife away from his throat 'you are still a bloodthirsty vampire Tyler said as he drops the knife to the ground. Tyler walks away from Violet 'how about being a new wolfpack leader with sliver shadow power' Violet said as Tyler took out his claws up toward her neck.

'This is not my problem I'm not taking the deal' Tyler said as he lows his claws and walks away from Violet.

Ashley pulls out the history book on the demon war place in front of Skyler 'ok this huge book Skyler said as she opens the history book. Skyler was interested in her father as she learns more about the demon lord.

Skyler pushes the demon war history book to the side and looks at Ashley 'I'm guessing won't hear from someone that experienced the events' Ashley said as she fired her hair. Skyler nods her head 'ok I will tell you Ashley said as she thinks back to the past.

'Your father demon lord was going untie with warrior elves with marriage to Elves queen' Ashley said she used fire to tell the story 'but soon your father betrayed elves by cutting them off, Elves slow started to die from hunger so they started devouring anything insight like humans or elves' Ashley said as she ended the story with fire.

Skyler felt bad for the elves 'make sense why that they hate my father' Skyler said as she touches the book cover. Skyler removes her hand from the book cover and places the book on the shelf with other books. 'I felt like had no family that would want me but now felt nice' Sklyer said as she smiled at Ashley.

Ashley looks the at letter cutter on the deck picks it up and throws it at Skyler. Letter's cutters came flying toward her face 'used your power to stop it' Ashley said as Skyler try used her power. Skyler closed her eyes as the letter's cutter was going to cut out her eyes but she opened her eyes to see that she stop it with her power.

She threw the letter's cutter to the wall but almost took out Jack's head 'I'm so sorry Jack' Skyler said as she felt bad for almost taking off his head.

Jack look at the letter's cutter on the wall 'It's fine Ashley had done it a few times before Jack said as reached his ears and lay down on the couch. Ashley pulls out some spellbooks for Skyer to practice with. 'You go practice these spells in the den' Ashley said pulling Skyler out of the room with books in her arms.

Ashley closed the door behind Skyler 'some happen can tell when your wolf ears twitch' she said as she touches his wolf's ears. Jack sat up on the couch 'you're right about that, Anna burns down the church and killed everyone' Jack said as he couldn't get images of burned and devoured bodies.

Ashley places her hand on his shoulder 'Thanks for telling me but I wait to tell Skyler the news' she said as she watches Skyler through the door.
