hey guys :)

this is my first time doing any sort of profile update, like i've never even had a misc. book or anything, so bear with me here. also, i am not going to be the slightest bit concerned with using proper grammar in this section(aka this is your warning).

so, as some of you may know, i just started my 3rd year of college(technically my 4th but i transferred schools & not all of my credits transferred so yanno). i also just changed majors from a political science & legal studies double major to a journalism major w/ a minor in political science. long story short, journalism is a very intense degree & i am also working full-time to pay for school so i am SO tired and in desperate need of organization.

SO. here we are. 

i still want to write on here, but the way i've been doing it just isn't working. i've been stressing myself out to write a certain amount of chapters per week(or not pushing myself to write at all), not giving myself time to be excited about my fics, not getting any sort of interaction on my stories, & just overall feeling very burnt out.

but i love you guys & this hellsite so i'm not leaving yet.

i'm trying to finally adopt a new mentality of posting what i love & what i'm comfortable with, rather than racing to post cool things that everyone will love and following the hot/cool/trendy tropes, etc.

but that being said, i am an author and i am not ashamed to say that i literally live off of reader validation. i think that's something that will always make up a part of me, no matter what new mentality i adopt. that's why i'm coming to you guys right now and asking which of my fics you most enjoy so i can focus in on those. and i will leave this open for a while!!(basically if you come across this a year from now, def still comment which fics of mine you like & i'll pay attention!)

AND i promise i'm almost done, just a few more sentences.

whenever i feel like i get enough responses to get a good grasp on where i want this account to go, i'll update this book again with another profile update. my goal is to narrow it down to 2 - 3 fics that i really focus on, and i want to get out at least one update a week. aside from midterms and finals weeks, i think that's definitely something i can commit to.

i don't feel like listing all of my fics here, sorry, but if you're still reading then i'm hoping you linger on my account enough to know some :)
