"OH SHIT, I'm going be late!" I looked at the time displayed on my phone, shoving it into the back pocket of my jeans quickly—rushing out of the door with my tote bag on the verge of dropping to the ground from my shoulder. I ran to the flight of stairs, thanking the lords that I lived on the fourth floor of a twenty-five story high apartment building. On a normal, laid back morning, unlike this one, I would take the elevator downstairs. But today there was no time to press buttons and wait for the elevator to sink three floors impatiently. Once the exit door was in sight, I slammed against the door and sprinted out to the lobby, catching the attention of five people waiting in a bundle for the elevator doors to open. It also happened to catch Mr. Han's attention, my buildings friendly door man. On a normal day—unlike this one, we have a short and sweet talk until it's time for me to head out to the bus stop.

This morning, I had no time for small talk.

"Good morning Astra—"

"Good morning Mr. Han! I gotta get going!"
I quickly greeted him, waving to him once I made it outside of the window as I ran across the street—looking both ways before I did of course, I took my phone out of my pocket, checking the time once more before I stuffing it back. I read 9:44, and my bus comes at 9:45 AM. "Shit—Excuse me!" I approach groups of people crossing the street and walking along the sidewalks, rushing through them. Though I was still far, I could see my bus, and a line of people trailing inside. I saw the last person get on, the doors closing behind them. My grip on my tote bag tightened, and the stress of not making it was already flooding my mind with some kind of consequence i'd have to deal with later today.

My chest felt heavy, and my legs are tired out from the ongoing sprint. From a distance, I noticed the tall guy that leans against the light pole every morning, running towards the bus in a clear rush like I was in just before it's brakes lifted to leave. My eyes widened, and we both tried to make one last run for the bus before it sped off into the city streets.

I came to a sudden halt, my tired legs giving in. "Fucking A." I muttered, loud breathes being heard from both myself and him beside me.
"Real fucking A." He whispers under his breath.
I look up to him once my breathing became steady, eyes meeting with whose figure had beads of sweat on his forehead, strands of his black hair sticking along to it. His eyes then looked down to meet mine, and I stepped back quickly, fixing up my own hair while hiding the warmth that probably caused a blush across my cheeks.

Clearing my throat, I turned to look at the bus schedule for the next bus that would arrive... Although it would make my walk to school much longer, I had no choice if I wanted to at least show up to my morning classes.
Taking in the information, the next bus that will come to this stop is the nearest to SNU—but it's a thirty-five minute wait, meaning once I get on it'll have to be a forty minute bus ride, and a thirty minute walk until I reach the school.
