Vincent's POV
Right after the party. I rest myself dahil sa pagod. After I said to Clarisse that starting to love her, I asked her to dance with me.
It was a boring day so intended to read some books.
"Story title PANAGINIP" I then remembered that it was the story I read before father died.
"Hi Kath, sabay na tayu sa school." Arnel said.
"Oi, ikaw pala yan, sure, wala din si papa eh, walang maghahatid sa'kin." Sambit ni Kath.
Kath and Arnel were friends since bata pa sila, they both have feelings sa isa't-isa but they don't have courage para sabihin yun.
"Malapit lang naman yung skwelahan, lakarin na lang natin." Tugon ni Arnel.
"Sure, kasama naman kita, you'll save me whatever dangers will come right?" Sambit ni Kath while smiling.
"Kapag tayu talaga na tyempohan ng mga adik, iiwan talaga kita." Sabi ni Arnel.
"What!?duwag ka talaga eh." Kath Exclaimed.
"Joke lang, I'll save you no matter what, don't worry." Arnel said. Later while they're walking, the horror of their theme awhile ago occured. Arnel was dread not because madami yung kalaban, but on how he will protect Kath while facing innumerable enemies.
The fight started. Arnel's facing the enemies while Kath is at the back trying to cover her. Minutes after and Arnel's almost losing his posture dahil sa dami ng kalaban. Soon as he felt the dizziness he planned to rush the enemy without thinking that Kath was at her back. As he rushed the enemy, Kath shouted. "Arnel, help me!" She exclaimed.
"Release her please, just take my life, wag nyu lang siyang saktan." He said. The enemy was about to stab Kath but Arnel rushed to grab the knife but he's the one who got stabbed. The enemy ran right after they stab Arnel.
"Stay with me." Kath said. "Stay with me Arnel!" She exclaimed.
"I h-have t-to t-tell you s-something." Arnel said stuttering.
"Say it, I'll do what you want, just don't leave me." Kath uttered while tears are now forming from her eyes.
"M-mahal k-kita, t-take g-good c-care o-of yourself." He said before his life was being taken.
"Mahal din kitaaa, matagal na!" Kath exclaimed while mourning as if she's a wild bear.
"Mahal din kit—" she didn't manage to end her word dahil nabatukan na siya ng kanyang nanay.
"Tanghali na babae, gumising ka na!" Sigaw ng kanyang nanay. She then realized that it was just a dream. She faced the mirror and said, "Atleast pinaglaban ako kahit sa panaginip lang." She uttered and laughed.
After reading the story, I called Clarisse and asked her if she's free today. Niyaya ko siyang magpasyal and she said she's free daw kung ako ang kasama. I smiled from her reply. I felt like I was being blessed to have a woman who set aside her busy days just for me.
"I'll come at your house later, wait for me." I said to her and ended the call. After ko magbihis, nagpaalam na ako kay mom and yaya and immediately went to Clarisse house.
When I arrived at the house, I called Clarisse and said that I'm outside the house. I waited for a couple of minutes before she came. I won't be astounded anymore by her beauty, she's like an angel for me. She looks perfect that every man could ask for.
