Coffee for Two?

Levi bolted out the door. He had to get to the store because he ran out of milk at home. He went walking down a busy street when some one came running right into him.

"Ugh" Levi complained "Watch where you're-oh, hello Petra." It was Petra Ral, the nicest girl at school. She was Levi's friend and secret crush. Petra rubbed her head in pain.

"Ugh, dammit-oh, its you Levi"
"So uhhh... how have you been?" Levi asked.

Petra smiled and said "I've been good Levi, but right now, I'm running late."

"Oh I'm-I'm sorry" Levi replied."I won't hold you up any longer." Petra looked down at her feet with an embarrassed look on her face.

"Erm, no, it's fine. I'm just meeting up with someone." Petra said

"Oh-who, if you don't mind me asking." Levi replied. Petra waited a moment before answering.

"Some guy I met at training" she finally said."He wanted to go get coffee."

"Oh, ok well... see you later than." Levi said and began to walk away when Petra grabbed his shoulder

"Er... wait Levi..." Petra said with an embarrassed look on her face. "Do you mind coming with me?" She asked. "I don't really know this guy too well and I was too nice to say no again."

"Oh uh... sure I don't mind." Levi responded. Petra smiled at him which made Levi feel great inside.

"T-thanks. we're going to the café by the mall." she said"

"Ok" Levi said. "lead the way." Petra sighed and started walking down the street and Levi followed. He soon asked what the persons name was.

"His name..." Petra thought. "I think it was like Oulo or something."

"Oulo huh?" Levi said. "I feel like j know that name somehow. I don't know him though." Petra chuckled at that as they walked into the building "So where is this guy, do you recognize him?" Levi asked. Petra points to a table for two with an older guy sitting there with two coffees. "So that's him..." Levi whispered to himself.

Petra sat down next to him and said "Hello again."

"Oh hey" Oulo said."I didn't think you'd show up."

"Well that's rude." Levi thought to himself. he walked to their table and introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Levi."

"Oh, sorry sir, but I'm straight." Oulo responded.

"N-no it's not like that, I just- I'm Petra's friend". Oulo looked at Petra with a confused look.

"Oh yeah" Petra responded, I rant into him this morning and he wanted to go get coffee with us. Oulo looked at Levi in an angry tone.

"Oh are you leaving soon then?" He didn't want this guy to swoop in and steal his soon-to-be girlfriend.

"Oh well I was just uhh..." Levi wanted to tell this guy off so bad but he didn't want to look bad in front of Petra, but he had no choice.

"Listen, I'm going to be a man about this and tell you the truth."

Petra gave Levi a worried look. "Levi..."

"Petra only brought me along because she doesn't know you very well but she was too nervous to say no to this date, and in my opinion, you look like your in your forties and act like you are very important. You also seen very snobbish and bratty and I don't think Petra deserves to go out with you."Oulo got up out of his seating anger and bolted out of the café, leaving his drinks at the table. "Too afraid to face a challenge, I knew it." Levi said.

Petra breathed a sigh of relief "Thanks again." she said.

"No problem." Levi replied. he noticed the two drinks on the table. "Hey, coffee for two?"

Petra giggled. "You go first, he may have spiked it."

Levi took a sip of the coffee. "Ugh, black, this guy has bad taste." he said.

"The cheap kind too." Petra said after sipping hers.

"Hey" Levi said "Why don't we go somewhere with coffee that's actually decent? My treat.

"I'd love to." Petra said. The two walked out the café with a newfound love for each other.
