"Are you sure you're going to be alright?"
All he does is worry.
"I promise, I'll be fine."
I can see it in his eyes. In the way his mouth scrunches up before he answers. He's like a book. I can read him all too easily. He thinks he's all that.
Gag.
"Can.." He starts. I know what he's going to say, but he chokes on his words. "Just... Let me know when you get home okay? I saw you in there. I know somethings up."
"If you're so worried, why don't you just hop on in hey?"
His eyes go so wide it's funny, this little look of bewilderment as I pat the seat next to me.
