POV: Teruhashi Kokomi
Ever since the ramen incident, I really want us to go to an actual date.
T: Saiki,
S: What is it?
T: Let's go to the beach.
S: Why?
T: What do you mean why? So we can have a date there.
He raised one of his eyebrows and crossed his arms. He thinks that I have ulterior motives. Oh wait, he knows I have ulterior motives.
I shortened my distance with Saiki until I'm right in front of him.
T: Come on, I promise it will be fun.
His cold face slowly breaks. He closed his eyes as he says
S: Good grief. Fine.
T: Yay! See you tomorrow!
Tomorrow,
Saiki and I finished changing to our beach clothes at the changing room. The weather's so nice for a beach date.
All the guys at the beach started applauding as they see me.
S: This situation is oddly familiar.
I turned to Saiki wearing swimming trunks. One thing surprised me.
T: You know Saiki,
S: Hm?
T: For someone with super strength, your build is normal.
S: Bulging muscles are unnecessary and will interrupt my daily life.
T: Does that mean you dont have muscles?
S: I do, its just not visible.
As we were talking, we heard a scream. I looked and saw a kid drowning. I was going to do something until Saiki put his hand on my shoulder. I turned towards him.
S: Wait for it...
I looked towards the drowning kid again and saw a jet of water approaching the kid. From below, Hairo Kineshi carried the kid and took him to shore. He was thanked by the kid's mother and admired by the people at the beach.
T: Oh, its Hairo-kun.
S: Why is he sweating? He just jumped in the water seconds ago.
He noticed Saiki and I watching him.
Hairo Kineshi: Oh, Saiki-kun! Teruhashi-san!
T: Hi, Hairo kun.
H: It's rare to see you together alone.
I blushed a little from what he said. But then I realized I have to make a reason on why we're together. I asked in a begging tone.
T: *Saiki,*
S: Its fine. Just tell him we're improving our swimming.
T: *Are you sure?*
S: I am sure.
T: We're just practicing our swimming.
H: Oh, why dont you say so. I would love to help but I have to do my lifeguard duty. See you!
T: Ok. See you Hairo kun.
As soon as Hairo-kun jogged off far enough, I continued talking to Saiki.
