Devon stared point blank at Creed as he advanced towards him.

"You're trying to scare us" Russell giggled

"Wassup buddy, Devon was only asking a question" Ryan said, perplexed at Creeds countenance

"Can you repeat what you just said a few minutes ago?" Creed snarled he was ready for anything

"Creed it hasn't gotten to this point just chill bro" Devon pleaded

"Stay out of this Devon, nobody tells me to chill, I'm the boss here" Creed roared banging his fist on the desk, Devon shrieked taken aback by the sudden change in behavior

"Oh! I know what this is all about, your Alpha bullshit, right?" Russell asked

Creed was furious and was about to pin his claws on Russell, but Russell barely noticed that Creed had metamorphosed.

"Hold on, before you get your filthy hands on me, listen attentively" Russell said sarcastically as he put his hands inside the pockets of his baggie jeans pacing back and forth across the classroom block.

I was just waiting for Creed to strike him right there, how I wish I was the one there, the scores would have been settled a few minutes ago. I was becoming so impatient, just wanted to see this scumbag bleed.

I probably had no trace of pity left in me, since the gruesome killing of my parents by some unknown vagabonds. After my parents death, I had only one thing on my mind.............

Rachel was busy looking at a hand-held mirror pouting her lips and applying some lip gloss. All along she was paying attention to Creed trading words with Russell.

"Alpha Creed or whatever the call you, ehhmm, some days ago Bryan Moore the owner of New-Dallas restaurant layed complain concerning your girlfriend's unusual behavior...." Russell said

"Luna, that's what the call it not 'girlfriend' ". Ryan hollered

"Oh! My bad, I really need to learn this Lycanthrope terms all over again" Russell continued mocking Creed

"You don't speak to him like that, you better watch your mouth" Rachel shouted

"Shut up bitch! This is none of your business, okay? I still don't understand how you guys enjoy being half-human and half-beast, it sucks." Russell couldn't help but laugh out loudly.

"I don't even believe that such exists" Ryan echoed

"You don't believe werewolves exist, it only shows your depth of ignorance, you've been actually speaking with one of them, and he's just standing in front of you" Devon said with fear in his eyes, he could see that something bad was going to happen.

"You're so obsessed with fairytales Mr.Devon, mind you this bloke standing here is either possessed or has a rare case of Lycanthropy" Russell taunted Creed once more

"Are you sure of what you're saying"? Ryan smirked

"Hundred percent sure, with zero chance of promoting a fallacious ideology" Russell boasted

"Only if you can give me concrete evidence to back up this bogus claim." Ryan barked

"You need evidence? Seeing is believing, right?" Russell asked

I was mad at Creed for not doing anything, he  would have just slit Russells throat into two, I wanted to see his windpipe pumping out a fountain of claret liquid.
I wanted the floor stained with some crimson.

Suddenly Creed let out a loud deafening howl, the entire classroom block was filled with his roar, Devon scurried away and ran out of the back door.
Creeds mutation was incomplete as it was not yet the full moon and it was during day time, Russell was shocked to his bones as he saw a different figure standing face to face with him.

Werewolves don't exist they said. They are the product of fairytales and people's imagination.
Ryan would have accepted this assessment without giving a second thought some minutes ago. But now here was a werewolf staring directly into his eyes.
He'll probably start questioning Russell's assertions as to the true nature of Lycanthropes.

Creed grabbed Russell by the neck and slam his face on the desk, bruising Russell's face with his razor sharp fingers, Russell squealed as Creed added more pain to aggravate his suffering.
Russell struggled to get free and attempted stabbing Creed with a pocket knife, Creed saw it immediately and averted the assualt.

Out of nowhere Vince Lee the Samoan fired two shots in the air. Before started to shot sporadically. I noticed that it was a revolver gun, which could hold a maximum of 7 rounds of ammunition.

Everyone rolled on the floor, I concealed myself to avoid unnecessary contacts with stray bullets, I always heard people saying that the most dangerous thing is 'a gun in the hands of a lunatic' and Vince really fitted into that description.

Creed roared once more as a two bullets hit his torso almost simultaneously, his screeching was so loud that I had to block my ears in other to protect my eardrum.

Ryan couldn't move an inch from the crime scene, it was as if he was glued to his sit, he had goosebumps all over his body as shivers ran down through his spine. He'd just witnessed a transmutation now he's got a gun wielding pest right in front of him.

Little did we know that the street gamgs that fought this morning had invaded our school and Vince was a member while still being a student at the same time.

They were on a mission to eliminate all the Alpha's in Upper division district of Carson city. Creed was on their hit list, I couldn't hold my tears back as I saw Creed rolling on the floor and letting out a loud howl because of his bullet wounds.

Rachel the Omega helped me to take him out to a safe place, two miles away from the school classroom block while members of his park engaged the scoundrels who attacked our school at the front gate.

I never knew Rachel was a healer, she claimed to know about a thousand spells  by heart without having to consult her Grimoires. She claimed to be very good at the art, allegedly kick-starting her career at the age of thirteen.

She needed glasses. It wasn't that she couldn't see without them, but what she could see with them. When she wore those glasses, her eyes focused so deeply that she could see not only the physical but also beyond physical matter. It was like a supernatural transition. In other for the job to be done she needed the glasses.

"Don't worry, he's going to be fine" She assured me, as I was still sniveling.

"I want him back" I sighed

"It's obvious the bullet used was poisoned" Rachel said

"Is it the cause of his weakness?' I queried

"Absolutely, you're right" She said

"Probably a combination of Arsenic and Aconite poison" Rachel said as she examined the wound.

"I'll be fine Luna" Creed managed to say but his voice was too weak.

"Don't panick, just hold on for a few minutes" Rachel disappeared for some minutes.

I started recalling all the time I spent with Creed from the first day we met to our becoming friends and something more than friends.
All this memories could just vanish at this particular moment and become the tales of tommorow, but I was confident that Creed will survive this particular incident. He was the strongest dude I've ever met, against all odds he must survive, nothing more, nothing less.

It seemed I was going to wait for eternity, two hours had elapsed from the time Rachel left, and there was no sign of her return.
I peeped outside the small window of the concealed block and saw several corpses spread across the woodland area.
Rachel never came back. What could have happen to her?
I could only wonder.
