Chapter 1.

Lilac POV 

I sat on my couch, clenching the letter in my hands with tears of joy streaming down my face.

Mrs. Lilac Shisuta,

To whom it may concern we are excited to inform you that you have been selected to attend Hope's Peak Academy as the ultimate social butterfly/super high-school level socializer and/or the ultimate Beauty/super high-school level Beauty. All necessary items will be provided to you, including housing, food, uniforms, and school materials. You may bring personal items if you wish. We await your arrival.

"Fuck yeah! I did it!" It was currently 12:23 A.M. A yawn escaped my lips, I muttered to myself, "I should probably go to sleep.. They want me at the gym for orientation at 8:00 A.M..." I refolded the letter and placed it back in the envelope, resealing the blood red seal. I walked up the stairs, hearing the floorboards creak under my feet. I placed the letter on my night stand and climbed into bed after double checking that my phone was plugged in. Before drifting into dream land I whispered, "Hopes Peak Academy, here I come.."

There I was, standing at the heart of Tokyo, Hopes Peak Academy. I was holding my  letter in one hand and my suitcases in the other. "This is it.." I grabbed my bags and started towards the entrance. I stepped into the building and yet before I could even look around my vision scrambled, the colors mixing in front of my face. I felt my eyes growing heavy and ended up passing out.

"Ngh hng..." I stirred away, a groan coming from my lips. I lifted my head off of what it was resting on which was a hard dark wood desk in a very empty classroom. I looked over at where windows should be and my eyes widened when I saw in place of them were very thick iron plates. "Huh? Uh, I'm sure this is just temporary.." I looked back over the desk and saw a white construction paper pamphlet. I flipped it open and something was scribbled in red crayon. "This looks like it was drawn by a five year old..." I read what is written on the paper, 'Hello! From now on this school will be your entire world! Please head to the main hall for orientation at 8:00!' I put the paper back on the desk and walked over to the door before sliding it open. I peaked my head out and lo and behold it was empty with multicolored lights illuminating the halls. I looked back at the clock, "8:07!? Fuck I'm late!" I stepped out and closed the door before starting to run through the halls. I made it to the main hall and stood in front of the door. I grabbed the double door handles and pulled the doors open. Everyone's attention turned to me and someone who looked older then the others said, "Cool! This will make sixteen of us!" I smiled, "Oh! Hello!" A small and dainty girl asked, "Q-Question... Did you happen to wake up in a random classroom..?" I nodded and said, "Yes! I did!" A very beautiful young woman with raven twin tails said, "Ah, so we all woke up in a classroom will no clue of how we got there? Fabulously peculiar..." "Yea that's the word.." I looked over at a very tall male with a... very interesting hairstyle. "Haha! Maybe they'll auction of our organs!" I turned to a male with bright red hair. "Think positive! It's a motivationally program!" I heard a bubbly voice similar to mine in energy terms. She said, "This is supposed to be a special school, right?" "Hardly." I looked over to the person who said that, and she was strong. The girl with twin tails said, "We should start introductions with everyone." The male with the odd hairstyle said, "Now's no time for friggin' introductions!" She smiled and delicately placed her hand over her mouth, "However true that may be we won't be able to communicate with each other if we don't know each other's names." The small girl said, "S-She has a point" Everyone was standing in different places so I walked over to the girl with twin tails. She looked at me and smiled, a barely visible pink tinting her cheeks. "Ah, I do not believe we have been introduced I am Celestia Ludenburg, you may call me Celeste, the ultimate gambler, you?" My face lit up and I said cheerfully, "Hello! I'm Lilac Shisuta! The Ultimate social butterfly! Nice to meet you!" She asked, "Social Butterfly hm?" I nodded and smiled. She gave a smile back and said, "Unfortunately we have others to talk to, I hope to spend more time with you darling." She walked away from me, her twin tails gliding through the air.
