"Is it really not there in your pocket? When was the last time you had it with you?"
Taehyung scratched his forehead while looking around the area.

They were just by the door of their house when Jungkook realized his wallet was not in his pocket anymore.

"I had it while I was buying groceries."

"Did you leave it there or something?"
Taehyung sighed when he noticed how tensed and sad Jungkook looked. It's understandable tho, losing wallet is quite depressing.
"Shall we go back and look for it?"

It was a great timing when Jungkook got a call from the convenience store to tell they found his wallet in the store.

But Jungkook insisted Taehyung to get inside the house with the groceries saying he'll be tired if he go again in the hot sun while he ran to take his wallet back eventhough Taehyung asked him if he want to go together.

But that also sounds good that he didn't go, because he'll be alone in the house for some time before Jungkook comes back. He just wanted some time alone for now so he could calm down properly and think what he's about to do and what needs to be done.

Taehyung finally let out a long sigh after closing the door. He was tired from all the mess he went through since he woke up. But to see how Jungkook made sure to take good care of him since morning, it kinda made him think, "just how much does he care for his girlfriend?"

And that reminded him of how he failed to even visit his parents once a week because of his work.
That just made him feel... pathetic.

"Hi again!"

Taehyung gasped loudly with a silent scream when he saw the younger grim reaper from before standing behind him when he turned.
"Grim Reaper No.2? How did you get in?"

"Hmm, well... as you can see, I can go anywhere I want. But what's with the No.2? I have a name, y'know?"

Taehyung took a deep breath when the drim reaper turned to walk towards the bedroom.
"Kwak Dong Yeon, right?"

"Yup. You can call me Dong Yeon. We're gonna meet often afterall. We need to be comfortable with each other."

"Did you just say we're gonna meet often?"
Taehyung scorned when Dong Yeon smiled brightly as if he didn't say anything creepy- like who wouldn't be creeped out if a grim reaper says they're gonna meet often? Though he didn't look scary by his appearance for a grim reaper, it still creeps him out just by the thought.

"Yeah? Didn't you had a deal with Hyung-nim?"

"Deal? Oh yeah, that deal. Well, I don't have any other choice, do I? I just have to live as Taeun for 2 years till she dies, right?"

Dong Yeon smiled, "yes. You have to live as Taeun. And living as her means you have to do the things she was supposed to do in these two years. But for you to be able to do that, you have to understand her, know about her life, everything about her, in other words, you have to become Taeun for the 2 years."

Taehyung sighed as he realized it's really not going to be easy. Becoming someone else will never be easy. And moreover, if she was single, it would've been a bit easier but she has a boyfriend living together with her at this moment. Oh wait, does that means-

"Then... don't tell me I have to act like that guy's girlfriend for the whole 2 years?"

He rolled his eyes when Dong Yeon shrugged his shoulders as if he doesn't know anything, "oh please, don't act dumb. I know you know everything."

"Well, not everything though. I'm just here to watch you and check on you if you mess up her life or not."

"So you care only about her life? What about mine?"
