The clock ticked and another page was turned. However, this mudame course of actions was stopped by the door being opened. Kumagawa took his eyes away from his manga for a moment to gaze at the shivering Yui.
Kumagawa:[I don't think it's that cold outside.]
Yui:It's not that...Ayato almost drowned me.
Kumagawa:[Ah, but she did act against it at the end.]
Yui:Yes. Most likely for my blood at how she she sank her fangs in me.
Kumagawa:[To be fair, you probably should've learned how to swim if you were going to the pool.]
Yui:...Misogi?
Kumagawa:[Hm?]
Yui:Father's not coming for us, is he.
Kumagawa:[Ah, you realized. Yep, he abandoned us. Well, I guess you could rather say he sold us to a vampire big shot.]
Yui:...Excuse me for a moment.
Yui slowly walked to a window and opened it. Her hands traversed to her neck and promptly ripped out the rosary around it and threw it out.
Yui:I'm done with you!
Soon a sound of glass breaking was heard followed by sounds like a car crashed. Yui flinched a bit and closed the window. The now possible neglicent murderer strolled forward with innocent whistles leaving her mouth as she sat beside Kumagawa on the couch.
Yui:Some people can be so clumsy.
Kumagawa has once again turned his eyes from his magazine, an act which Yui found very rare, and gave her a amused look. The girl got her feet to her chest curled to a ball and sat her head on top of Kumagawa's chest.
Yui:Hey...
Kumagawa:[Eh?]
Yui:Do you think God is real?
Kumagawa:[Hard to say...Well, I can think of an example of something close to it.]
Yui:I had some doubts about our teachings, you know? After all, if all was so good as they made it to be you wouldn't have suffered like that...
Kumagawa:[You sure have become nostalgic all of a sudden.]
Yui:We were together from a young age. It was hard at the beggining, but you were alwais by my side. You...You won't leave me too...Right?
Kumagawa has turned his gaze at her, now his eyes completly focused like they were gazing at her very soul. His face lost all of it's expression for a moment.
Kumagawa:Of course not.
Than his usual demeanor returned and he got back to reading the manga. They simply sat like that without saying anything and just spending time together.
After a while Kumagawa had put the manga down. Yui noticed he also laughed a lot from it, but she's unsure if his laughter was caused by something funny or something sadistic.
Kumagawa:[Man, this Sukuna guy cracks me up!]
Yui:...Misogi?
Kumagawa:[Ah, is there something you want to do.?]
Yui:Yes. Can we go outside?
Yui went quickly to her room to take a jacket out of her closet because of the close outside. She went back down yo see Kumagawa waiting at the door in exactly the same clothes he alwais wore, the cold has never been a problem for him.
He opened the large door and both of them were out quickly. Despise being night outside the streets were still pretty busy. Several guys did eye up Yui on the street walk, but they quickly left after a menancing stare from Kumagawa.
Kumagawa:[There sure are a lot of people out there. Do they have nothing to do at this hour? It's like it's already Christmas.]
Yui:Christmas, huh? Now that you say it Seiji alwais have you a cross as a present on Christmas day and you alwais lighted it on fire...I understand the wooden crosses from that series, but to this day I still don't know how you managed to set on fire the ones made from steel.
Kumagawa:[Arson is an art, my dear Yui. That aside, I'm surprised you call him by his name now.]
Yui:He left us as juice boxes, I refuse to consider him a parent anymore. Speaking of which...
Yui finnaly found a phone box and entered it. She got the phone out of it's case and introduced the number after putting a coin in to use it.
Yui:Alright, listen here you...
Laito:Oh, I'm listening very good, Bitch-chan.
Yui:L...Laito?
Laito appeared behind them and tried to grab Kumagawa. However, the minus reacted fast and grabbed her hand before she managed to take a hold of him. The fedora wearing vampire winced a when she was slammed into a wall.
Laito:Oh? I wanted to capture Bear-chan first because he was the more dificult one, but it seems I understimated him a little.
Yui:You wouldn't be the first.
Kumagawa:[Ahaha, guess so.]
Although Laito managed to keep her composture on the outside, she was freaking out on the insidem. She'd be the first to admit she wasn't the strongest out of her siblings, that would be...Well, it's actually hard to tell between the youngest and the middle her full sister. Subaru punches very hard, but Kanato has some real talent with magic.
The point is, while she not a muscle freak like Subaru she is still a pure blooded vampire. Humans should be no more than twigs under her hold. Yet here she was, unable to move from a human's hold. That warning they got weren't just words, it seems.
Laito:You really are a strange one.
Kumagawa:[So I've been told.]
The two satred at each other in a sinister way, their eyes seemingly glowing in the dark. However, their little starting contest was quickly broken off by an annoucement made by a large TV screen above the street. Laito seems to have been annoyed by it going by her glare directed at the screen.
Yui:Sakamaki...Togo?
Laito:Yes, he's our father. Although I only see him as the object of my hatred.
Yui:...Togo? No...Karlheinz?
Adter saying those words in a somewhat confused and hollow tone she closed her eyes as she passed out right there. However, Kumagawa let go of Laito and caught Yui in a princess carry before she could hit the ground. He brushed a strand of her hair from her face as his grin drew a little.
Kumagawa:[Hehe, things are starting to get interesting...]
Meanwhile, Laito stared at the uncouscious Yui with wide eyes. How...How did she know that name? Laito didn't have much time to wonder that because her line of thoughts was quickly broken off by Kumagawa.
Kumagawa:[Do you wanna go for a pizza?]
Laito:...That's a little sudden, don't you think?
Kumagawa:[I just heard thry have a awesome place around here, that's all.]
Laito's face streched in shock at his reasoning for bringing that up at this situation. It was so ridiculous that she began laughing without even having a motive to. After a while she calmed down and gave him the most genuine smile she had in years.
Laito:Sure, lead the way~!
