Another year of high school...yeah I'm so over it what if I just drop out and-
"Uhm excuse me" an unfamiliar voice spoke behind me
"Yes?" I responded
"I'm sorry can you point me out to side A?" She says, showing me her schedule
"Oh yeah it's just two blocks down" I say turning on the heel of my foot
"Uhm well i-
"Yeah?" I turn back giving her my attention I'm not usually this nice at this point I'd continue walking away but this girl- she's very attractive and I haven't seen her around so she must be new here
"Can you walk me please?" she clutched her books to her chest
"Uh yeah sure I can walk you" I reply leading the way.
"I'm Nicki by the way" she holds her hand out for me to shake it but I almost cringed a little
"I don't shake hands." I say bluntly
"Why?" She says with her confused face scrunched up. It was adorable
"I don't even know you, no offense" I scoffed and shook my head.
"Uhm I got it from here you can go now." She's says not giving me any attention and looking through her schedule.
"Are you for real right now?"
"Yep" she replied
I stood there for a hot minute..then shrugged my shoulders and walk away.
Strange girl. She has a bad attitude. Just wasting my time. Damn newbies. Maybe I should've just shook her hand that was a lil rude of me..

She's weird.. but strangely attractive. Hmm I can find this class myself.
14 minutes later....
"Uhm ma'am can you help me out?" I ask spotting a tall girl by the vending
"What's up pretty girl?" She responds sweetly.
"I need help finding this room" i point
"Hmm..ah yes Ms. Union" she says looking up at me as I do so for at least a good minute
"What's your name?" She says still locking eyes with me
"O-Onika.." I stutter out
She unlocks eyes and shakes back to reality
"Well I'm Megan aaand if you just keep walking straight till the end of this hall and turn left you'll get there. I would walk you but I gotta find my best friend." She says walking away with a smile.
Phew. Now off to Ms.union ————————- When I arrive to the room I take a few breaths in. When I do I could see a tall dark coco skinned woman in a grey suit winking at me and giving me hand gestures to come in. I let it out and slowly open the door as it creeks everyone jolts they're eyes at me with a smile.
"Hi you and you must be Onika?"
I nod with a smile back but nervously
"Hi." I respond exposing my dimples
Phew you got this. I whisper to myself as I close the door behind me.
