Running and screaming were all the group of five knew of at the moment of panic and fear. They were trapped, in some strange place without a known way to get back home to their families. One moment they were smiling, laughing, having the time of their lives, to running and screaming. But that wasn't even the scariest part, they knew nothing about what they were running from all they knew was it was big, and it was hungry.

They all ran faster than they had in their lives. "C'mon!" The oldest, Dylan shouted to them all. He was in the lead, his dark brown hair flying in the wind, he had tan skin and silver eyes. He grabbed James, the youngest and the slowest. He was panting heavily, his freckled pale skin and dark blonde hair dripping with sweat. Hailey ran up to Dylan, her dark amber hair blowing behind her sandy skin. "What the heck is that thing?!" she yelled her turquoise eyes focused on the "path". "I don't know, and I don't think I want to!" James yelled back. "It's going to eat us! I can't be eaten, I have plans!" Steffany joked her blonde hair had slipped free from her ponytail, now her hair covered her brown eyes, and her peachy skin was glistening with sweat. "Guys less talking more running!" Dylan shouted as they all ran past tables and chairs through the corridors as everything behind them was destroyed by the monster, which now was only a few yards away.

The monster roared, sending rubble flying towards the five. "Guys! we need to run faster!" Vera shouted; her emerald eyes filled with fear. "Unless you want to be lunch" they mused as they ran faster, their light olive skin and curly jet-black hair looked as if they were misted with sweat. "We're trying!" Steffany shouted at them. "GUYS! That thing is still chasing us! so stop fighting about stupid stuff and focus on running!" Dylan yelled at the others as he almost tripped over his untied shoes. "I'm going to die with a bunch of idiots, great" Hailey mumbled under her breath as she rolled her eyes and kept running on with the others.

The group ran faster as they approached a hole in the ground like an oversized rabbit hole. "Can we just jump in there?" James asked as he pointed to the hole. "We're going to die anyway so what's there to lose?" Vera asked as they jumped into the hole. "Well, that doesn't give us much of a choice, now does it?" Dylan said as he leaped into the hole after Vera. "I am not jumping in a hole where only god knows what's in there," Steffany complained. "Yes, you are" Hailey grumbled as she pulled Her into the hole with her. James giggled as he jumped in with the others.

Inside the rabbit hole were beautiful glowing mushrooms and flowering vines. "Woah" Vera breathed. "It's so pretty." Steffany gasped. "I'm sorry, are you kids lost?" a man with slender features and jet-black hair asked. He was wearing a very fancy suit, and glasses that were way too thick for him. But they did compliment his navy-blue eyes. They all looked at him and jumped with fright "Who are you?" Hailey asked, being the first person to think right at the moment. "Ah, where are my manners? I'm Eight." He spoke calmly and yet politely. "Like the number?" Steffany questioned. "Yep, it's a- Uhm, a long story." He said as he put his hand on the back of his neck and sighed. "Well, hello Mr. Eight I'm Vera." they started to say as they studied the man, "and this is Hailey, Steffany, James, and Dylan." They continued as they pointed to each of the others." "We were hoping to look for somewhere to stay for a little bit. Could we stay here from the monster above," Steffany asked running a hand through her blonde hair. "Of course, you can stay!" He exclaimed. "Just one question though." He added. "Just exactly how did you get here?" Eight asked.
