Running through the platform 9 ¾ Elliana had a rush of deja vu, the smell of cinnamon, seeing the sight of crying families wishing their children sweet goodbyes, but spotting a familiar blonde headed boy.
Rushing through crowds of people and jumping on Dexter, her best friend since birth, she yelled "Hi Dex!" "Ugh" exclaimed the boy "Why do you must jump on me everytime we see each other? The British boy asked with an annoyed tone but the smile on his face gave it away. "Wow love you too Dexter" Elliana replied with an eye roll. "There you are!" Elliana turned around to see her mother standing there with the rest of her family and belongings. "Sorry mama," she replied. Her mother then fixed her eyes behind Elle. "Dexter! Young boy, since when did you become so handsome?!" "Hello Mrs. Laucet, I guess I just got more handsome during break." Dexter complimented himself. Scoffing Elliana replied "Oh please". Her mother then turned around and smacked her behind the head saying "No seas un idiota" "Lo siento mama" Elliana apologized while rubbing her head glaring at Dexter for laughing.
"Elle!" "Dexter!" Turning around hearing both of their names, there laid their whole friend group Rossane, Jayden, Luca, Noelle, and Aaron. Leaving the parents to fend for themselves they both sprinted into their friends arms for a warm embrace. "Geez we missed you too guys too" Rossane said releasing from the hug. The train whistled for a last warning to departure. Hugging all the parents and siblings one last goodbye, they all headed to the train sitting in a booth all together laughing and talking like no other Luca says, "Yeah Elle you got hot over the break!" "What really? I think I look the same." Elliana responded now feeling self conscious about herself. Rossane and Dexter noticing her sudden behavior change Dexter stated "Don't worry love you look great", Rossane nodding her head agreeing with him.
