"Aurora! Get out of bed, we're going to be late for breakfast!" Maddie said in a rushed tone, while slipping on her shiny black shoes and honey yellow robes.

"I'll be out in a minute" I groaned, as I shifted in my bed trying to block the sunlight in my eyes. I bet someone put a spell on my window, because the sun somehow always got directly in my eye, no matter how much I moved around in my bed.

I slid out of bed when Maddie finally left, and changed into my Hufflepuff robes, put my long black socks on, and finally my polished high heeled Mary Janes. I rushed out the door into the Hufflepuff commons, and through the secret door to breakfast.

(Some backstory)
It was my 4th year a Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and I loved it. I loved how every morning, my best friend in the whole wide world would put his leftover toast on my plate every morning at breakfast, or how he would scare me from behind after his quidditch matches, and how he would always be there when I needed him the most. My best friend in the whole wide world is Cedric Diggory, the Hogwarts "Golden Boy". I thought it was a bunch of shit, since I was one of the only girls who wasn't head over heels in love with him.
I met him in Diagon Ally, while I was out looking for a very rare book on princess etiquette, and while he was looking for the latest model of the broomsticks. We bumped into each other while walking out of the store with our new gifts, when we fell to the ground. We were about 7 at the time, and to apologize, my parents had the Diggory family over for dinner. After that, we became inseparable.

(Story continues)
After breakfast, I went to all of my classes. I have them all with Cedric, since we convinced Headmaster Dumbledoor to change our schedules. After classes ended, I went out to the courtyard, and hung out in the large oak tree reading the princess etiquette book from when I was 7. I loved that book so much, because it was how I had met him.

I was lost in the chapter about tea party's when I hear a rustling coming from the leaves behind me. I looked and there he was. My best friend, covered with leaves.

"Hey Rory!" Cedric said, while picking a leaf out of his golden brown hair.

"Oh, hey Ced." I called back, while returning to my  fancy book.

I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders, and then felt the branch sink as he sat next to me.

"Why do you feel the need to read that over and over again, you practically have it memorized by now!" He said, peaking over at my book.

"You know I like to keep the etiquette in mind Cedric, even if I'm not at home." I said looking into his beautiful gray eyes.

" Oh shit, look at the time! I've gotta go catch up on homework!" He said as he blushed and quickly jumped down. He then ran off onto the endless corridors of the old stone castle.
