As I was studying in my dorm, I heard a rushed knock on the door. When I opened it, I saw my other roommate, Lia, smiling widely.
"Aurora you will not believe what I just heard!" She squealed.
"I bet I will, Lia!" I said, giggling with her.
"I heard that here is a party in the Ravenclaw common rooms!" She said, as her voice went to a whisper.
The Ravenclaws normally didn't throw parties, but when they did, they went all out. They would have the best drinks, food, and music whenever they threw parties. Because it was so rare of them to do, they invited everyone.
Time skip to night of party As I was putting my makeup on, Maddie walked into my bathroom, begging me to curl her pin straight hair.
"Please Aurora it would look so good with my dress!" Maddie's dress was navy blue with a short wavy skirt and an off-the-shoulder top, connected with gold thread.
"Fine, but only if you do mine." I said, sighing.
"Yay!" She squealed, turning around.
Once I was finished with her hair, she started to do mine.

I looked at my finished hair in the mirror and gasped. "Oh my goodness Maddie! This is amazing! I love it so much!"
"I knew you would love it!" She squealed and skipped out of the bathroom, leaving me to change into my dress.
I took a long look at my dress hanging up on the rod of the shower curtain. It was a pearly white satin that was somewhat loose-fitting, yet still showed my curves. It had pearl straps in the back, so I paired it with a small leather pearl-lined shoulder bag with a gold chain as the strap.

When I left the bathroom, Maddie had already gone to the party. I slipped on my classic white high heels.

As I headed out the door, I almost forgot a very important thing. My robes. I quickly slipped them on, and buttoned them up, and then left. I noticed how it was unusually quiet in the common room,
At the party I took off my robes and went up to the door. When i knocked, it opened immediately to reveal a room full of dancing people. As I entered, I looked for Maddie and Lia, knowing they would be there. While I was looking, I met eyes with a certain someone. It was Cedric.
"Rory! You came!" He spoke, louder than usual.
"You think I wouldn't come to one of the biggest partie of the year? You're crazy." I said, laughing a bit.
"Just saying, I thought you would be studying for the potions test next Friday." He said, laughing.
"See y'a Cedric" I said as I slipped away from his sight, into the dancing crowd.
I had an amazing time at the party. I danced and drank and danced some more. When the party ended at 3:40 AM, I stumbled down the steps and made my way the the Hufflepuff dorms. I almost made it when I felt a bad on mine. I looked behind and it was none other than......
