Why is the sky blue? Why don't cats bark? Why can't i hum with my nose closed? Wait...that's an obvious question. Why can't....

I lift my body of my couch and stare at the tv. How come am so bored today? Just then my phone vibrates and i just can't seem to find it.
I lift the couch cushions and...no no its not there. I search through the pile of papers on my table and...not there either. Scratching my head i release a frustrated sigh, with hands on my hips i hear the vibration again.
Where.Are.You?
I huff and sit on my couch giving up. Till my feet felt a tickling sensation i look down and face palm myself..there you are.
"Hello?"
"AMBER!!! You won't guess what happened!! "
"What?"
"David asked me on a date!!!"
"And you said yes?"
"Ofcourse i did. "
"I thought you and Kevin were getting back together. Where did David come from?"
"He has always been in the background of my life i guess. Anyway, i had to tell you. We going out tonight. What are you busy with? "
