A Soulmate AU where they are not demons, just people in a faraway place.

Take a look at a parallel world, an alternate universe where a girl exists to find her soulmates and play the music of her heart and soul.

Follow her footsteps, hear the melodies she play and learn of her encounters as she traverses the path her heart maps for her.

--

Irumi. That was the name of the girl. With her long blue hair and blue eyes, she was beloved by many. Cheerful, pure, kind. Those modifiers seem to fit her more than anything else.

She was always seen with an instrument and always accompanied by a melody.

In the days, the melodies would change just like the weather. In a time it would be soothing, in another it would be heartrending. Or it would be happy and festive.

Although many know of her name. No one has been able to discern the girl's true identity. After playing her melodies, she would leave the awestruck masses just like a phantom. Only to imprint the lasting impression of her soul and heart's melody in the minds of those who heard it.

And now the girl was walking again, humming her little tunes to herself as she follows the path that is most likely leading to human civilization.

As the sun started to set, she finds herself in an establishment that was most unusual for her. It was a school.

She was wondering. It was not common for schools to be out far here. They were always situated at more populated areas.

As she looks around, she takes a step forward, entering the school.

Suddenly, the quiet place begun to bustle with life as people filled the grounds and lights flooded her vision. It was like a spell working its magic.

With her eyes round in wonder, she looked around her and thought to herself that they must be having some kind of activity or festival. She smiled as she thought that it is marvelous. She loves festivals.

Everyone was excited. She could tell by their faces and their bustling movements. It seemed like they didn't mind her stepping into their school grounds. They were far too preoccupied with their work.

Irumi walks forward as her eyes darted towards everything. She wonders if her soulmates are in this place.

Soulmates. Fated existences that every single person has. It is said that when you see your soulmate, you would simply know because fate will guide you.

She had journeyed to a lot of places in hope to her soulmate because for her, simply waiting for them to come is no fun at all. Although she was a little disappointed that she had not yet found them, her optimism propels her forward to continue her search.

She reaches her hand to grab the bag behind her back. She stops for a while as she fishes out her flute. She smiles as a melody comes to her. After placing everything back in place, she readies her self to play.

Irumi takes a deep breath and starts playing. It was fast at first but slows down eventually. A series of soothing yet she still continued walking and playing at the same time.

The wind blew, making her blue hair flutter as she closed her eyes, immersing herself in playing the instrument.

And so, her melody reached the ears of everyone present.

---

In the far side of the said school, there was two individuals. A boy and a girl of pink and lime colored hair, respectively.

Their bickering can be heard from a few meters away. They seem to be arguing about something.

"No, I told you not to do that. Didn't I explain how to do this just a while ago?!" The pink haired boy admonished the girl with an exasperated face.
