Unexpected love

The invite

        The ride back home was really quiet. I and my dad sat down in a comfortable silence while he drove. He had figured I wasn't in the mood to start a conversation or even hold a conversation,so he didn't ask me any questions .
     My mind kept drifting back to what happened earlier at the packing lot.
Earlier
      "And who do we have here" Keith said with a smirk playing on his lips.I would be lying if i said i wasn't nervous at that point..
    He started walking towards me and I carefully took a step back until I collide with the wall.he came to a halt only when he was an inch away from me . I imagined all the worst sceneries that could possibly happen.
      Like being kidnapped or
     Even stabbed to death.
  
  I gasp in horror . Realizing that such things only happens in the movie, I exhaled not even knowing I was holding my breath.
   Keith chuckled and did something that got my heart racing. He closed the gap between us, our lips where dangerously close to each other that was until I heard someone coughing. Immediately I pushed him away with all the strength I had left, and turned towards the person.
Standing there was a blonde guy who is about 5'8 feet tall, he was wearing the lacrosse team uniform so i guess he is a friend of Keith. I immediately took a run for it .

Present
"Mum am home",I shouted while heading towards my room.
I didn't even wait for her reply and entered my bedroom. I was so happy to see that my sister wasn't home because i really needed some alone time.
       I showered and wore my favorite comfy clothes (Big T and sweatpants).I got settled on my bed and soon after I got a notification from my phone "Ding"
Unknown: Hey baby

It was an unknown number, I kept wondering who it was.Just immediately my phone Ding again.

Unknown: it's Daisy 😜
I smiled immediately I saw her name and texted back.
Me: lol I almost blocked your ass 😂.. how are you doing?
I saved her number and contemplated weather I should fill her in on what happened earlier.
Daisy:😂 I thought as much.am fine and you ?
   Make sure to save my number girllllllll😏
"Why is she smirking at me"I said to myself while laughing out loud .before I could reply, she sent another message
Daisy: I've got big news....
   This got my attention and I replied almost immediately .
Me:l'm good dear just a bit tired....and yes I already saved you up.
Me:what's the big news 😏
Daisy: Keith invited me to his party and it's going to be epic because he throws the best party.he said I could invite a friend soo....... Would you be my plus one?

   Seeing the name Keith made my heart pick up a bit. my mind drifted back to what happened earlier.I don't know if am ready to be in the same space with him, thought to myself .
Me: you know I and Keith don't get along,so am not sure .........
Daisy: lolzzz girlll just think about it. I will come pick you by 10pm. Be ready (kisses)
    I sighed to myself and gave it a little more thought .

During dinner my family kept on bombarding me with different kinds of questions.I love them so much but there ask the most annoying and silliest questions.
    My dad brought up what happened earlier, he ask me why I was moody but I just brushed it up saying I was tired.. My sister asked me if I met cute boys. And to God,I almost choked on my meal.
      I did actually, but I didn't say it out loud . My cheeks started heating up and all of a sudden everywhere felt hot.I fought the urge smile. What's going on with me I thought to myself and shook my head vigorously.
The dinner went by fast,with my family throwing questions at me and chatting about other stuffs.I told them I was going to attend a friends party, At first my dad was adamant on not letting me go, I had mom to speak to him , after series of begging he finally agreed but on the condition that I would be back before 12.
  I was so happy and ran up to get dressed.
