HEYA, CREATORS MISCREANTS AND MUGGLEBORNS! Here's LeaderEvolution and here's yet another announcement.
Let's cut to the chase: I am sincerely deeply sorry for the radio silence.
I know I promised I would have been more active here, that I would have tried to post more one-shots to compensate the lack of updates, that I was still working on the Saga's structure etc.
I'm sorry I couldn't bring anything I promised due time.
This summer has been rough, not for some event, but simply because I've been so drained physically and mentally that I spent more time playing than writing: first I had my exams in June and I broke up with my girlfriend two days right before it, then I spent basically all of July and August just playing Season of the Haunted on Destiny 2 and I couldn't bring myself to write anything but work on the already existing drafts of LawtQ and CylaHH. I was lacking any sort of inspiration or will or strength to work on them constantly, first of all because writing in English is more complicated than expected and also because I have stuff to do at home and for university.
The prologues of both fanfics? They are both still in progress and I'm so close to finish writing them, but somehow I still haven't because I can't find the will to.
Sure, at least a quarter of the stuff of both fanfics are written already, but the fact that I still haven't uploaded anything should suggest something.
About the one-shots I'll be honest: I forgot of their existence. I wrote down the ideas and now they are just sitting there, waiting.
I'm confident I will finish them one day, but now it's not the time and I have already stuff in my plate to worry about that too.
On the other hand, I have some good news: I'll be back on working on the Saga soon.
I spent the last two months trying to solve some major plot holes and working on other minor aspects of the story, so the structure is finally becoming solid enough to allow me to start the rewrite of SMI (without having to work on every single tiny detail as I initially feared). I recently came back in my Undertale phase as well and this is making me feel enthusiastic about writing again because of the vibes it's giving me.
At the moment, with Season of Plunder and Eramis's return on D2, I'm working on the Solar Stasis reunion one-shot, hoping I will publish that one at least, and, if you are curious about updates, you can check my Tumblr blog: Avery Authorspen, the Half Guardian or just the-half-guardian.
I suppose this is everything I had to say. I will soon post a similar announcement on DeviantArt as well because I haven't really opened it in months and maybe I'll go back to post fanarts too.
I'm going to create a double account both here and on DA to separate the Saga-related stuff from everything else, so I keep things organized enough.
