The fire was all you could remember. Burning, hot embers lacerated your skin.  You awoke in a wooded area as the snow fell heavily from the sky. Beside you lay an animatronic. It was jester-like half of it's head was covered in a night cap while the other had rays. You felt bad for the creature as you saw it laying in a pile of snow and debris, it's wires hanging out from where it's arms used to be.  You don't know where you are or who this animatronic is, but you do remember who you are and most importantly where you live.  You look up at the now smoldering embers of what looked to be a mall? You weren't sure. Then looked back to the animatronic.
"They must've saved me." You mutter.  You stand up carefully looking for some point of reference to where you need to go. Once you find it, you start to walk but remember the animatronic.  Having no other choice, you bring it with you. "It did save me after all. Didn't it? Regardless I can't just leave it here." You say. The animatronic was heavier than you anticipated. But somehow, you manage to make it back to your house. As you set the animatronic on your work bench you feel something in your pocket.  "A necklace?"  a golden locket with a dark blue stone with a moon and stars carved into it rested safely in your palm. "How'd this get here?" You wondered. You stuffed it back into your pocket and glanced back over to the new friend you'd just brought home. "I think I can fix them. It'll take a bit, but I'm sure I can fix them." You mutter.  But, it would have to wait till morning. You still needed to shower and figure out what the hell was going on.
