Keepsake. (A sun/Moon X y/n Story)

Conversation

         The day went by as per usual. Sun, being the lovable goof ball that he is couldn't stop making puns and jokes all day but even he was starting to show signs of exhaustion. "Hey, you alright Sunny?" You asked. Sun was slowly nodding off, you gently shook him awake. "Hm?! Oh yes, I'm fine sunshine."  "Bull crap." Sun gasped. "Language Y/n!" "Sunny, for one, we're adults and not in the daycare right now, and two you and Moon need to rest. Go charge." Sun was too tired to argue.  He went to his room and flopped onto his bed. He plugged himself into a nearby socket and closed his eyes, letting sleep take him.

      "Finally decided to get some rest huh?"  Moon said. He was sitting on a rock near a rainbow. Sun began walking over to him. "Yea. y/n kinda made me." He admitted. "Well that's good. We kinda needed the rest. Plus, you and I need to talk Sun."  Sun glanced to the puffy cloud-like ground. "It's about y/n isn't it?"  Moon nodded. "Yes." Sun turned away. "But... what if I don't want to tell them?"  "Why wouldn't you? You love y/n just as much as I do." Sun looked up at Moon. "I just... Never thought I made a good first impression. Keeping them in the daycare for an entire day just because I was afraid they'd leave us forever..." Moon walked over and put a reassuring hand on Sun's shoulder. "You didn't make a bad first impression. Y/n talked so much about you when I met them. Honestly I was kinda jealous. But from what I've seen through your eyes and memories, they love both of us equally."  Moon said. There was a long silence between the two bots. "How... do we tell them then?" Sun asked. "I'm not sure. I suppose for now, let's let them find out for themselves." Sun nodded in agreement. A flash of light separated the two and Sun woke up.
