Chapter 1:

     It was an ordinary Fall day, in West Virginia in a small fancy house. It was 1870 and an old fancy lady was very lonely. All of her kids are old enough to live on their own. She didn't have anything to do because she had maids that did all her tasks because of her age. One day she tried to do the dusting and had to climb the ladder and took a fall. She bruised her whole right side and she couldn't move for a week.

Then one day, in her finest chair she was thinking to herself,

I'm not getting any younger and I need somebody to take over my mansion but I can't give it to my children because they'll refuse not wanting to have the big life of the rich."

But who will take the mansion she wondered, as she sat and thought to herself a light bulb came to her. "I will host a party and hire a professional murderer and set him/her up as one of the guest.

As she thought long and hard she came up with the people who would attend the party. She made a list.

Dinner guests and their names

-The killer-Jerry( which will be one of the guards)

-The rancher-Joe

-The Duch and Duchess-Charles and Catherine

-Entertainment-bob

-A guard-guard

-Business man and his wife-Chad and Elizabeth

When she was done with her guest list, she would know exactly who to hand over her mansion to. She writes her letters in silence she writes them like this the same for all(except the killer).

Dear guest,

I am proud to host a dinner party which you are all invited to. If you could please RVSP right back that will be greatly appreciated.

Signed, Your host Lady Pottsmost

As for the killer she had a special letter for him, as she was writing it, it went something like this...

Dear Jerry,

I want you for a special mission, I offer 10k if you complete this mission. I need you to kill one of the guests. This mission is so I can figure out who will take my will only the bravest and smartest will be able to figure out the murderer please send a letter back through MY mail service if you would like to attend. Your role would be a guard so it isn't too suspicious.

As her plan was set into action, in about a week she got the letters back in about two weeks time. It was going to be hosted the 31st of October the day of Halloween the scariest day of them all.

2 days till the party.

Chapter 2

Lady Pottsmost was patiently waiting for the two days to past she sat quietly in her bed as the days passed on, she got more anxious because she didn't know how much longer she had been feeling awful weak since she wrote the letters.

The day of the party she had all her maids get everything ready, she needed everything to be perfect. The first guest to arrive was the killer his name is Jerry, when the other guests weren't arriving right away she told him the plan. "You will kill ONE person but do it secretly as to no one should easily figure you out. Secondly, you are to drop some hints not that big though. Then once you have been figured out there is a secret entrance to get out unseen behind the sofa," said Lady Pottsmost. 

The the other guests started to arrive shortly, First rancher Joe arrived on his horse he greeted Ms.Pottsmost by telling her his name is Joe. Second, to arrive the entertainment his name was bob he was an acrobatic then rest of the guests arrived a couple minutes later.

As the maids seated the guests Ms.Pottsmost came down stairs after she was finishing up. As she sat down she said, "Welcome my guests  my name is Lady Pottsmost ut you already know that I want all of you to get to know each other so talk amongst yourselves. As the guests were murmuring the maids and cooks have brought out the appetizers as the guests took the appetizers they all muttered in agreement that those appetizers were the best. 

Once they were done Ms.Pottsmost came back. and said, 

" Now a tour around the house will you all please follow me that would be great" said Ms.Pottsmost.

As they took a tour around the house Ms.Pottsmost was talking about the history of the house and how her great-great grandma owned it. It had secret passages a big kitchen and enough rooms for a family of 12+.

As they were finishing up the tour there was a loud scream as everyone rushed to the scene they found out the entertainer had been murdered a big kitchen knife was sticking out of his heart.

There was blood everywhere around him, Lady Pottsmost was happy but didn't want to show it or the guests might suspect something.

Chapter 3

     As all the guests were worrying in fear,after Lady Pottsmost settled the guests down she said, " we need to know who was the murderer and the murderer has to be one of us because I know my maids didn't do it."

So I need you all to go and figure out who did it," said Ms.Pottsmost. As they were all leary they still agreed that they would help Ms.Pottsmost. As they start looking for clues  Rancher Joe noticed something as for there was a knife in the side of the Entertainer, Rancher Joe called everybody over to his discovery.

As Catherine screams at the discovery, Chad shushes her.

" Who could of had a knife I wonder, " said Chad.

As they all discuss it they all decided that they didn't have enough clues to confront anyone. It was a while later and no one has found anything. As the guards were walking around Rancher Joe was suspecting one of them but he couldn't be sure.

Then there was a loud high pitch scream it sounded distant but close. As they all rushed to see what it was when they got there it was nothing Elizabeth dropped jelly from a jelly donut on her outfit. As everybody stood there looking disappointed at her she said, "what it could stain."

"Well don't scream unless you have a real reason to scream," said The Rancher.

"Yeah don't do that women, someone got murdered earlier you nearly gave us a heart attack," said Chad.

When they all left the business mans wife thought to herself well it is a big deal this is my favorite dress. As they were still looking around they found Charles and Catherine sitting on the couch drinking what seemed like 30 year old wine.

As everybody came up to them they all said in unison," What do you think you are doing."

"Well we can't be standing looking around 24/7 we need to rest of course," said Charles

"So your just going to sit on your but while there is a murderer on the loose," said the Rancher Joe.

The Charles and Catherine just looked up at him like he was a peasant. As they turned back around thinking they were worthless and kept on searching Rancher Joe was getting more uncomfortable by the moment.
