Is It Wrong To Save Chicks In A Dungeon?

Preparing For The Lower Levels.

"LEVEL SIX!?" 

Izuku stared at Tiona in amazement. "That's so cool! you're probably one of the twenty strongest adventures now!" 

"All thanks to you Mr. Argonaut." She grinned and ruffled his hair affectionately. "Also I heard something weird was going on with your stats? What's that about?" 

"Oh yeah." Izuku said softly. "It's definitely weird."

"What does curse mean, Goddess?" Izuku asked confused. 

Curse: 20

"Well whatever!" Tiona said. "The ribbon skill you have is totally an ace in the hole! I was all like Whoosh! And you were all inspiring like 'Do it now!' And then poof!" 

Izuku and Tiona started laughing. 

"Hey Tiona." Izuku said. 

"Yeah Mr. Argonaut?" Tiona asked. 

"Can I get as strong as you are?" He asked, looking at the sky. "I've been getting stronger yeah but I feel like I've hit this... wall. No matter how much faster I get. Or stronger I get. Or... Or how quickly I can get back to hunting... It's stagnating."

"Nope." Tiona said. 

"N-Nope?" Izuku asked confused. 

"You're being paranoid!" Tiona laughed. "Well actually you're not. You're in what's called Solo's last steps!"

"Solo's last steps?" Izuku asked. "What does that mean?"

"Hm... How did Loki explain this again?" She tilted her head to the side. "Oh yeah! So you remeber the Minotaur right?"

"Uh... Yeah." He sighed. 

"Well you saw how easy it was for me to defeat right?" Tiona asked. 

"Yeah a single hit." Izuku affirmed. 

"Exactly." Tiona said. "And you know the gnomes on floor two?"

"The ones with bows?"

"Yep!" Tiona said. "You could probably take em out in a single swing now to right?"

"Yeah definitely." Izuku nodded. 

"How would you fare against four of them?" Tiona asked. 

"Pretty well I guess?" Izuku said. 

"Yeah." Tiona said. "But there's the thing." She booped his nose causing his face to explode crimson. "If I'm able to easily beat a Minotaur, and easily able to beat four gnomes.... I should easily be able to beat a Minotaur and four gnomes. Makes sense right?"

"Right."

"WRONG!" She set her palm against his forehead. 

"W-What but..." Izuku said and she sighed. 

"Maybe for me it would be easy." She admitted. "But that's not the point."

"I... I don't think I get the point yet."

"Move my hand." Tiona instructed.

"What?" Izuku blinked as she gripped his forehead slightly tighter, yet not uncomfortably so. 

"Move my hand Izuku." Tiona grinned. "Oh do you need a little bit of motivation? How about if you move my hand I'll buy you some grub!"

"Food?" Izuku blinked. 

"Yep but here's the catch." Tiona said. "You can only use one hand. But on my hand, I can only use two fingers. I'll use my thumb and pinky. Ready?"

"U-Uh... Sure." Izuku said. He reached up hesitantly and grabbed her hand.
