Chapter one

I wake up from my nap to see our ship arriving in New York City's harbor. Alexander and I get off the ship only to find very busy streets. I straighten the skirt of my (F/C) dress (favorite color) and walk after my brother, only to see him go up to this Aaron Burr person. I tell Alex that I'm going to a dress shop, but of course, he's too absorbed in having a conversation to pay any attention to me, so I just walk away. I walk into the dress shop called Valerie's Boutique I started looking for a (S/F/C) dress, (second favorite color) but am drawn to a magenta/maroon colored dress I don't know why I'm attracted to this dress. I decide to try it on. It fits! Perfect! I can wear this tomorrow! I pay for my dress and leave the store and try to find Alex.

I eventually find him in a bar sitting with 4 people. The first one had light-skin and freckles hair put in a ponytail, the guy next to him is dark-skinned and has a beanie on, and the third one had light-skin and had a man-bun on his head and a beard. Alex then introduced me to John Laurens, Hercules Mulligan, and Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de La Fayette, but we just call him Lafayette.
"Where have you been? I've been worried about you!" Said Alex.
"I tried to tell you in the beginning where I was going, but you ignored me!" I snap at him.
"I'm sooo sorry, please forgive me? Let's have a drink, shall we?," Alex asked
"Fine, I guess." I reply.
"Yay!" Alex exclaims.
So, we ended that night by singing something about raising a glass to freedom, drunkly... very drunkly. John Laurens tried kissing my brother. But, to be honest, I ship it. I have their ship name: Lams
