Learning from the alpha

A new pack

Derek's POV
Derek was working out as he decided he needed a quick break and went to the kitchen for a little drink . As he filled his glass with water , he immediately drank the whole glass and went back to his so called training space , as he nearly reached it he heard a howl , as he tried to hear with his wolf hearing , he heard an wolf making his way towards his house but he also heard someone else in the woods .
It didn't sound like a wolf , it must have been a human , he ran towards the door and tried to recognise the smells , he only identified one , and it wasn't a good one , so he ran outside to check on the human . As he finally neared the space he saw that it was a teenage girl but the other wolf who appeared to be an alpha like him , as the alpha reached it's way towards the girl , Derek yelled at the girl to run away but she didn't hear him . The other alpha came to close and attacked the girl as she tried to run away as she finally has noticed the wolf , Derek immediately attacked the alpha as he shifted into his wolf , the girl unfortunately was bitten before he could do something " I am sorry girl , I wasn't fast enough" he said quietly to himself , the attacked to alpha and slashed it's throat open , the alpha shifted back into his human form , it was Richard , Derek disgusted Richard and for the final blow slashed his throat again , just to be sure that he was dead , Derek turned towards the girl , she was unconscious and was leaking lots of blood out of her bite wound , he grabbed her and brought her to his home , " now what am I supposed to do with you " he said to the unconscious girl , he put her in his bed and wrapped some bandages at her wound to stop the bleeding " I hope the bite takes , but how am I supposed to tell her what happened " he said to himself again . He sat down and watched the girl while she was sleeping .
